Ajibbbbbb:UI didn't create the school It was established by Christians from Europe |

Deeeepandholy:I'm not talking about the school praying in the name of Jesus or not, all what I'm asking you is "do you know the meaning of uniform"? It's just like trying to wear hijab on a normal police uniform because of religion. |

Musty112:Who among those covering their heads with hijab that the brain is functioning well including you? The people slaughtering people in cold blood and even blowing up themselves through suicide bombing that you think their brains are working well? |

Can a person of other faith attend a muslim school and not wear hijab? Will a muslim school allow female students without hijab? Therein is the hypocrisy. |
| Re: Court Of Appeal Upholds Hijab Ban In University Of Ibadan International School by GreenCovering: 8:17pm On Jul 04 |
Parachoko: CrownedPhoenix:Yes, they can. This is true even in the core northern states. What do you people take muslims for? |
| Re: Court Of Appeal Upholds Hijab Ban In University Of Ibadan International School by ifinger: 8:33pm On Jul 04 |

I really don't understand some things Can a Christian student go to a Muslim school and not wear hijab? Why force your opinion on others? Go to Muslim schools that accept such na... Infact, why are many Muslims comfortable with sending their children to "christian-owned" schools, why don't they send them to Islamic-based schools and save themselves all these stress? If you're in Lagos mainland and don't know any, I can suggest two - TAQWA School - Great Aspiration School They're both quran-based and also offer boarding facilities |

GreenCovering:^^^ You have made some points. But you should perhaps address some of the questions raised by non-muslims here. One such question is this: would non-muslims schooling in a muslim school be allowed to go without a hijab if they choose to? |
| Re: Court Of Appeal Upholds Hijab Ban In University Of Ibadan International School by Fujiyama: 8:52pm On Jul 04 |
GreenCovering:^^^ Not true. |
| Re: Court Of Appeal Upholds Hijab Ban In University Of Ibadan International School by GreenCovering: 8:55pm On Jul 04 |
Fujiyama:Very true. This is my own personal observation having lived in the north before for a long time. Here also confirmed below.

GreenCovering:^^^ There is clearly a range of experiences. Yours is clearly different from that of people I know. Their female wards and daughters were compelled to wear hijab in school - it wasn't a matter up for debate. And it isn't just on the matter of hijab alone. I have a nephew who suffered during Ramadan every year while working in Kaduna. He had to deal with co-workers who would become extremely hostile whenever he had his lunch in the office during Ramadan. To avoid conflict he would have to go have lunch outside before returning to the office. ![]() |

GreenCovering:Wrong. They have a right to set their demands and you have a right to ignore them and go somewhere else. If it were the only school I would have said its wrong and that's discriminatory? However once there's a choice then they can do as they deem fit. |

If you want to wear hijab pls go to a Muslim school, unless you want everyone to start wearing their own type of religious clothes to school. I wonder why these guys always want people to treat them specially. That's how one clown was complaining about not being able to pray at work because the company doesn't give them time to do so. SMH. |
| Re: Court Of Appeal Upholds Hijab Ban In University Of Ibadan International School by udemzyudex(m): 9:24pm On Jul 04 |
GreenCovering:Trash as usual. You lots always want to be treated special, the world doesn't evolve around your religion. |
| Re: Court Of Appeal Upholds Hijab Ban In University Of Ibadan International School by olayinka63: 9:28pm On Jul 04 |
If you check very well, the school is not a full private institution. There is federal government funding to it through UI budget. Or internal revenue generated by UI is being used to fund the school. The school is also sited on the federal government land. So don't fool yourself about the school being a private school. We will do the needful at supreme Court. Hypocrites will try and will fail at the end. They have been failing through the use of their crusade method across the country. |

GreenCovering:One thing u Muslims do best is tell lies….and I am not surprised because its a doctrine in ur religion Which core northern states will u find this lies u just spewed…. We have Muslims primary and secondary school around the sweet west where things are a bit sane than the north, and Christians kids cant even attend those schools let alone try and dress without hijab… U pple are just bunch of trouble makers… u want to dish out what u cant take… |

This is bad, that school needs hijab . Yoruba Muslims are seen as 10th citizens in the Z00. |
| Re: Court Of Appeal Upholds Hijab Ban In University Of Ibadan International School by Parachoko: 10:30pm On Jul 04 |
GreenCovering:Well, I've never seen a girl without an Hijab at any Islamic school in Lagos state. The International School in UI was Established by Christians Some of the school past Principals were Clergyman |

olayinka63:The Western Union Government gave the school the land The school was created by Christians Some of the School former principals were Clergymen |

WatchYourSix:I can tell that you have not lived in the north before and your deep ignorance of Islam speaks for itself. Fujiyama was honest enough to state his experience through a third party then you found your voice to start projecting your usual copy and logics as knowledge about Islam. |
| Re: Court Of Appeal Upholds Hijab Ban In University Of Ibadan International School by Deeeepandholy(m): 11:55pm On Jul 04 |
Parachoko:I am very sure not all Christians lie like you. You certainly do no represent them here with your lies. You know that school was founded by an European and you are so quick to attach the word “Christian” to it when the school unlike other missionary schools was never founded as faith school, was not founded by any Christian organization and has never affiliated to any faith. A clergyman had been a principal of the school and a Muslim had been a principal of the school as well. The founder was even jewish. It’s a purely secular institution right from the very beginning. All these lies just to prove Muslims students should not use hijab?? You hate islam this much? |

Afriifa:What is aggressive about demanding your fundamental human right? Now Donald Trump will be making Yeye noise about Christians being persecuted, while in reality the Christians are the ones persecuting other religions in Nigeria. I am sure the bogus judgement will be overturned at the Supreme Court. |

Musty112:Your last paragraph is highly unreasonable. Have you sat down and imagined how chaotic the institution would become if every other religious group and sect starts clamoring for the freedom to wear their respective religious attires to the school or is it only the Muslims that have religious regalia? Why do you lots love dictating to people and asking them to embrace your way of life even in their own spaces? These same people have exported this silly trait to many parts of Europe and unlike China and Israel, these Europeans always compromise all in the name of political correctness. The question again is, can you tolerate this same thing you are asking for if it was coming from a Buddhist or Christian student? So why always asking people to tolerate that which you are never going to tolerate? This hypocrisy is nauseating to be honest. Saudi as a country doesn’t even allow the public practicing of religions other than Islam but Muslims want to freely practice Islam in Europe, the Americas , India , Africa, Israel and even China (though, these ones are wise and don’t allow it😂) Place make me understand this madness. |

GreenCovering:If you love the hijab and buqqa, relocate to Iran, Pakistan or Afghanistan. You can’t dictate to a private business entity how it must be run by its owner. There are well over 4000 religions in this world today, why always you? The Quranic education is enough for them if that’s what they want, the formal western education is not for everybody ! |
| Re: Court Of Appeal Upholds Hijab Ban In University Of Ibadan International School by yemre: 12:47am On Jul 05 |
Deeeepandholy:And the students had to go to because of the argument? Why should there be an argument in the first place? You're shown the school uniform, then you show up adding hijab and the school says they don't want and the next thing you went to challenge that in court? Well, this is Nigeria. |
| Re: Court Of Appeal Upholds Hijab Ban In University Of Ibadan International School by WatchYourSix: 1:13am On Jul 05 |
GreenCovering:I dont have ignorance of Islam…. U pple are largely intolerant… when u are few u pretend u are peaceful to infiltrate the community and govt…. Once u grow in numbers u start forcing ur laws , eliminating resident laws so u can impose ur shariah…. The idea of uniforms in schools are simple .. it is to create uniformity among student.. if u cant abide, go and create ur school and wear wateva u like …. But yall want to create religious segregation among students …..go to many northern states … shariah police will arrest a woman for not using hijab in some public space…. U are now here spewing lies…. Na be me u go manipulate with your taqqiya… i know about all those deceptions your Allah and prophet permit You to use on your fellow human you have tagged as infidels because they are not islamists |
