Yesterday, my Boss made us work under the heavy rain and refused to pay us our salary until we complete the work.

When I got home, the dinner my wife cooked would not be enough for the children to eat so I went out to buy ₦300 akara to hold my belly until the next day.

Before I said let me remove my clothes and take my bath, my children had pounced on the small akara I bought.

I would have harmed my children last night if not for the fear of God in me because that was the only money I had in my pocket.

I went to bed angry and hungry. My wife tried to calm me down and make love to me but I cursed her and we ended up fighting.

My own too but I don't know the ogbanje wey dey enter her. She got one woman friend, anytime I advise her against or in favor of that woman, she will pick serious fight with me that may last for days. If I try to find out exactly whats wrong with my advice, she can't tell. Even when we reconcile, she will start saying something like I don't even know why am angry.

You will be very lonely at old age... Your siblings children at a time no go dey reason you again, they will be very preoccupied with things to meet up with. By that time you will be regretting why you no marry or have children when your mates are marrying and having their own children.

Except you decided to be a baby mama or a single mother in the future. Just have 1 or 2 kids in your name and forget about husband.

You see now at this age you are, of course you can do lots of things with your strength and power, go to work, market, cook, go out with friends etc.. time will reach when you will be unable to do any of this again..real matter o no be play. Na that time you go see the value of husband and children except you wouldn't like to get old in your life.

You see that loneliness at old age is what most people are scared of, nothing else.

Remember Nigeria doesn't have old people homes, unlike Oyibo land where they have all this facilities they use in taking care of Old people in their country.

I calm down to read almost all comments about Op! Some are hilarious and some are witty.
See guys! Op has been on this forum for a long while. He was doing well in the village with his farm and family until bandits made him relocate to the city and he lost most of what brings him food and income.
.
Now in the City he's trying to survive and sharing once in awhile his family life with witty and hilarious ways as stories.
And he has never for one day beg or solicit for funds or money from anybody here.
His wife is not complaining but most of you here are helping them drink their Panadol.
Enjoy his once in awhile story and move on, if you feel too much pity for him and his family, then do something to help him, otherwise keep mute and stop the insults always thrown at him.
