Tradition keeps you clean and pure - because it is built on one simple principle: Anything you know tht if somebody do you it will pain you, dont do it to another person. If you follow this simple rule, you will have a clean heart and a clean soul.

I was once a full blown Christian and the more I got involved in the church, the more I started seeing things for what they really were... I saw hell on earth, if members didn't do enough evangelism throughout the month, they'd get whipped with a belt by our senior pastor, we'd each be allocated the amount of offering that we're expected to give as members depending on our family backgrounds, and almost everyone was fornicating in that church because apparently "the founding pastor didn't mind"... So I did give Christianity a chance, but I unfortunately ended up in deep depression and became suicidal, it took the work of a therapist to get me back into my senses... And this is one of the biggest churches in Africa.

You don't use ur experience in just one church to jump into conclusions there are a lot of spirit filled bible believing churches that doesn't engage in all those things u mentioned above just take ur time to search for them in ur area they might not even be popular but very impactfull.

I sincerely understand your sentiment on this. However, everyone is not the same. I know of people who have not allowed wealth or status to enter their head. I personally know someone who was married by her husband as a "poor girl" from a very poor family background but now she is 1000× richer than the husband. Yet, she adores the husband like a demigod. She honours the man like her life depends on it. She will always say: "I am who I am because of my husband". I'm telling you this from a direct experience

I equally know someone who won millions of naira playing the lottery. There are always outliers but your behavior should not be based on that. Your behavior should be based on what's most likely to happen. She'd have insecurities and any perceived "disrespect" she'd think it's because she's from a poor family. There could also be genetic or spiritual element to the family's poverty. Also, that'd be your children's family. You can avoid all that by simply stepping!

So the answer to your question is that Jesus went to Hell and preached to them and those that repented followed him to Heaven.

As for those who died after Jesus came, they are all in hell as far as we know. You cannot enter heaven without Jesus.

Salvation is actually a divine calling it can't be forced on anyone no matter the efforts u put in to save that person only God really knows who will be saved or not even before they were born on earth.
