We are still many that follow tradition in my hometown. Though some still go to church for to be a part of a society.

Tradition keeps you clean and pure - because it is built on one simple principle: Anything you know tht if somebody do you it will pain you, dont do it to another person. If you follow this simple rule, you will have a clean heart and a clean soul.

No, I'm not from Anambra... Many of those Africans claiming to be Christians are just traditionalists in disguise... They're Christians to the public, but traditionalists in private because they're ashamed of embracing their African spirituality publicity due to the fear of being marginalised from the society and it's quite sad when you think about it.

I was once a full blown Christian and the more I got involved in the church, the more I started seeing things for what they really were... I saw hell on earth, if members didn't do enough evangelism throughout the month, they'd get whipped with a belt by our senior pastor, we'd each be allocated the amount of offering that we're expected to give as members depending on our family backgrounds, and almost everyone was fornicating in that church because apparently "the founding pastor didn't mind"... So I did give Christianity a chance, but I unfortunately ended up in deep depression and became suicidal, it took the work of a therapist to get me back into my senses... And this is one of the biggest churches in Africa.

I hate church too. But Jesus is real and he is sad and angry. Many are entering hell daily. It doesn't matter if you had a bad experience in church. Jesus said "come to me" not "go to church".

I wish I was unsure of what I just said. God is in heaven and humans are on earth. The bible is the only true guide we have. Not men. You found yourself in a religious prison but Jesus still cares about you that is why you're the only person in Naira land that I felt led to talk to about Him.

Everything you see in the bible is 100% real. Do not let your experiences make you question them. I once became an atheist because of my similar experience with you.

Because many people associate African spirituality with evil, which is not always the case... In every religious denomination, there'll always good and evil people... And African spirituality raised and shaped me into the person I am today, no matter how much some people might demonize it, I'll forever be grateful of it even if I become a full blown Christian... So if my partner and his family weren't going to accept my background for the way it is, there was no way we'd have worked out.

1) If the guy is a rich guy, and/or from a rich family background, and the lady (in question) is a humble, respectful and submissive person, he can go ahead.
