Check the date I submitted my passport and the date it was ready for collection. That boy is bad because I said I did everything with the help of ChatGPT and not agents. If you say anything against agents here, he will attack you. That is why I am avoiding him till next month. I no suppose follow person wey say Canada d issue 'Permanent Study Permit' talk.

Hello house, please i need your advice.

My long awaited second study visa application was refused after waiting for 50 days. Application submitted date 16 July, Refusal date 5th September.

while waiting, i already deferred my admission to Jan 2026 intake New LOA submitted through web form.

1st Application~ Was refused because there was a mistake in my my bank statement Ticket.

Second Application~ The issues on the first application was addressed, but yet was refused for another reasons.

Reasons for Second application Refusal~• I have reviewed the application. The applicant's assets and financial situation are insufficient to
support the stated purpose of travel for the applicant (and any accompanying family member(s), if
applicable). Previous refusal noted. Partial tuition payment noted. Proof of funds
on file provided. Financial information is not supported with sufficient evidence for the bank
statement balances on file. Limited evidence pertaining to the source on stated funds. Bank
statement shows lump sum deposits and there is insufficient evidence showing how these
savings were accumulated. In the absence of satisfactory documentation showing the source of
these funds, I am not satisfied that the applicant has sufficient and available financial resources to
pay the tuition fees for the program of studies that they intend to pursue and to pay for living
expenses while in Canada. Weighing the factors in this application, I am not satisfied that the
applicant will depart Canada at the end of the period authorized for their stay. For the reasons
above, I have refused this application.

My Mom is my sponsor, she has a Registered Business

Documents submitted~ CAC business Registration, Tax clearance certificate and an affidavit of sponsor/support.

For the lump Sum, she sold some of her property valued 20m and just affidavit for transfer of ownership was submitted.

FOR CONTEXT, I plan to reapply this September when i get receive my PAL for 2026.

Please what can i do differently this time to make the application stronger? Any advice from the house please Help.

What are possible reasons for delay?

Dont mind @Abel Abdul. Check it his own is the quickest and that shows you the scam red-flag. He knows that people re eager to get response once they start their visa application.


Its also a general awareness that If you completed your biometrics at the VFS Global Canada in Lagos or Abuja, your POE letter will typically be processed through regional visa offices in Accra (which handles many West African applications) or Kenya and routed directly to your online account or sent via email. So dont mind him by claiming he got his from Ghana as if its a special preferences.

Abel Abdul is a commercial bus driver in Portharcourt and he is sitting inside his bus right now. He works with travel agents and usually lures innocent people to them. He has been posting 3rd party documents and he will soon be nab.

He is doubting that passport submission and collection cannot happen within 5 days.

I wonder what he will say about people who got their study permit approved in less than 6 weeks when the IRCC website stated processing time 6 weeks. Ignore him pls so we won't derail the thread.

Morning fellas. Wishing you a great week ahead. Quick question to everyone whon got admission - on average, how long did it take for you from when you submitted your application to when you got an admission feedback/notification from the school?

I applied to different schools in Canada. Some gave me admission in less than a week. One of which was (Algoma). Majority took up to two weeks. It was only two schools that took up to a month before issuing me admission (Alberta & Saint Mary). Saint Mary demanded for a visual interview. After that interview it took two weeks for them to offer the admission.

Saint Mary gave me unconditional offer even without the official transcript but they told me to make sure the official transcript was sent to them before end of Oct, 2026. The rest of the schools gave me conditional offers and majority of the conditionals were;
1. pay a tuition deposit
2. submit official transcript directly from my school

Add a small amount of money to it and push it to GIC in Canada. Show evidence of the wire transfer to your GIC account.
