SantiRAMBO:Dont mind @Abel Abdul. Check it his own is the quickest and that shows you the scam red-flag. He knows that people re eager to get response once they start their visa application. Its also a general awareness that If you completed your biometrics at the VFS Global Canada in Lagos or Abuja, your POE letter will typically be processed through regional visa offices in Accra (which handles many West African applications) or Kenya and routed directly to your online account or sent via email. So dont mind him by claiming he got his from Ghana as if its a special preferences. Abel Abdul is a commercial bus driver in Portharcourt and he is sitting inside his bus right now. He works with travel agents and usually lures innocent people to them. He has been posting 3rd party documents and he will soon be nab. |

SantiRAMBO:Check the date I submitted my passport and the date it was ready for collection. That boy is bad because I said I did everything with the help of ChatGPT and not agents. If you say anything against agents here, he will attack you. That is why I am avoiding him till next month. I no suppose follow person wey say Canada d issue 'Permanent Study Permit' talk.

Wow this was fast. Is this the same timeline for PR visa or they prioritize fall study permits? AbelAbdul: |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by AbelAbdul: 7:39pm On Jul 04 |
PrettyRX:I know nothing about PR. I've never applied so I can't tell. |

PrettyRX:Even his Ai also exposed his lies. Attached is Ai different answers on the topic. He is having a delusion of grandeur. I bet if he even has a valid travel passport not to talk of canada visa.

dsureguy:Ignore the guy pls. When I enter Toronto next month I will make a video. He is doubting that passport submission and collection cannot happen within 5 days. I wonder what he will say about people who got their study permit approved in less than 6 weeks when the IRCC website stated processing time 6 weeks. Ignore him pls so we won't derail the thread. |

Morning fellas. Wishing you a great week ahead. Quick question to everyone whon got admission - on average, how long did it take for you from when you submitted your application to when you got an admission feedback/notification from the school? Thank you. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by AbelAbdul: 9:02am On Jul 06 |
Mavor:I applied to different schools in Canada. Some gave me admission in less than a week. One of which was (Algoma). Majority took up to two weeks. It was only two schools that took up to a month before issuing me admission (Alberta & Saint Mary). Saint Mary demanded for a visual interview. After that interview it took two weeks for them to offer the admission. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Mavor: 9:31am On Jul 06 |
AbelAbdul:Thanks for replying. Is it a diploma or Masters program and did you need to submit and unofficial or official version of your transcript? |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by AbelAbdul: 11:44am On Jul 06 |
Mavor:I submitted the unofficial transcript. I was given a conditional offer. When my school sent them the official transcript, I was given unconditional offer. It took my school two weeks (with bribe) to send that transcript. It is a master program. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by AbelAbdul: 11:47am On Jul 06 |
Mavor:Saint Mary gave me unconditional offer even without the official transcript but they told me to make sure the official transcript was sent to them before end of Oct, 2026. The rest of the schools gave me conditional offers and majority of the conditionals were; 1. pay a tuition deposit 2. submit official transcript directly from my school |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Mavor: 11:58am On Jul 06 |
AbelAbdul:Ok thanks. I have applied to 6 schools. last week and the week before. submitted my unofficial transcripts and sent official transcripts from my school to some. waiting for admission decision |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by AbelAbdul: 12:04pm On Jul 06 |
Mavor:I did not sent my official transcript until the schools requested. Since sending my official transcript cost money, I only sent it to one of the schools that gave me admission. Many schools gave me admission (conditional offer). To get (unconditional offer) I was to send my official transcript directly from my school to them. Since my school charges (very high amount) to send transcript to Canada, I only picked one Canadian school and instructed my school to send the transcript. And that is the school I would be going for studies from Sep. Unless your school is sending the transcript for free, do not send official transcript yet. Wait till they offer you admission and demand for it. Are you applying for Fall 2026? |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by amnotapervert(m): 4:20pm On Jul 06 |
Mavor:Are you talking University or college? It depends on where you are applying to Universities generally take longer to process applications than colleges Some colleges may even offer you admission on the same day you apply as they are looking for international student money badly hahahah after going bankrupt last year https://globalnews.ca/news/11839473/conestoga-college-financial-misuse/ For BSC, master or PHD programs universities would take about 4 to 12 weeks to make admission decisions, although some can take 3 to 4 months.... and still Many universities wait until the application deadline has passed before reviewing applications and releasing admission decisions... Colleges process applications within a few days to two weeks, with some issuing offers on the same day.... like conestoga hahahahah So, it all depends on the type of institution and program you are applying |
