| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Rahab409: 12:22am On Jul 08 |
Abeg what school gives msc admission in one week or two and perhaps offers MSc in Renewable Energy. It's urgent guys. Mavor: |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by AbelAbdul: 7:39am On Jul 08 |
Rahab409:The cost from LOS (Lagos) to YYZ (Toronto) is N1,516,068. There is only one layover in Dubai. I used wakanow to book that Emirates. If I had booked directly it would have been more cheaper but wakanow was the nearest option as booking it directly failed. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by AbelAbdul: 7:41am On Jul 08 |
Rahab409:One layover and it's 44:55mins journey. I guess that is why it is he cheapest. |

What school give admission in 24hrs. It's urgent. AbelAbdul: |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by AbelAbdul: 7:51am On Jul 08 |
Rahab409:I do not know any school that gives admission in 24hrs. But from my personal experience, I had a school that gave me admission in less that 3 days. I would not say that is their pattern I would say it was my luck. Let me check my email and get the name of the schools that gave me admission within one week. I will get back to you. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by AbelAbdul: 8:07am On Jul 08 |
Rahab409:Try Algoma University. I applied to them on 10th Feb and got admission on the 14th of Feb.

AbelAbdul:Abel Abdul @Rehab409 has turned you into clown and see the way you are displaying your ignorance on the subject. Someone asked you a school that gives admission in 24hrs and you were cracking your brain 🙄 Most government accredited institution with the right authority to admit foreign students in Canada will not give you admissions in 24hrs or 1 week. Most schools that does that are the schools founded by Chinese or Indian or Arab billionaires for visa racket to bring their allies to Canada. That is why you keep asking why is my study permit or entry is being denied. How can a school give an Msc or Bsc admission within 1 week ? You were even given the exact timeframe for traveling when you have not even left Nigeria. Stop confusing people with Ai answers. We need practical experiences. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by AbelAbdul: 8:59am On Jul 08 |
PhdCloakRoom:These schools gave me admissions within a week. So it's safe to say that they are Chinese own schools. LOL Algoma University University of Niagara Falls Ontario Tech University and who cares if the are Chinese owned? As long as they are DLI no 1 give a damnn! Oops! Who did I just respond to? Someone who said Canada issue 'Permanent Study Permit'? I'll pass. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by AbelAbdul: 9:06am On Jul 08 |
PhdCloakRoom:I expected you to come here and say that NO school gives admission within a week that I was lying. Not you coming here to say any school that gives admission within a week it's own my Indian or Arab. Who gives a F who owns a school? As long as the school is DLI you will get your |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by AbelAbdul: 9:16am On Jul 08 |
Rahab409:You can also try this one. Ontario Tech University. I submitted my application 11th Feb and got admission 17th Feb. Who owns a school is irrelevant. just make sure that the school is DLI and the course/school is eligible for PGWP. You can visit IRCC website to check schools that are DLI. And once a school offers you admission, if it's DLI their DLI number would be on the offer letter. As long as it's DLI ur study permit would be approved.

| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Mavor: 9:25am On Jul 08 |
amnotapervert:Already got 3 letter of admission this week. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Mavor: 9:28am On Jul 08 |
Rahab409:Try Norquest. They gave me LOA in roughly over a week. It depends though, as long as you meet the program admission requirements and you get all official transcripts to them fast. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by amnotapervert(m): 1:46pm On Jul 08 |
Mavor:Congratulations! Now it's time for you to decide which one works best for you. Yes, some school won't waste any time issuing an admission offer... The international student cap has really affected some institutions. In fact, some colleges are struggling financially, and in some cases, the provincial government may have to step in temporarily That's why I said you could receive an admission offer the same day....sometimes in less than an hour but please just make sure that the school is DLI and the program and school is eligible for PGWP https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/study-permit/prepare/designated-learning-institutions-list.html

Algoma University and Ontario Tech University are publicly universities. They are not new schools. The only school I won't advice someone to apply to right now is University of Niagara Falls because the history is very limited. AbelAbdul: |

Hello everyone. I’ve been following this thread for a while and I must say ‘thank you’ to everyone for their inputs. Hubby’s study visa approval has been delaying and till now no update whatsoever from IRCC. Application was submitted on 9th of April, biometrics was done on 23rd of April. Since then nothing. Start date is 2nd of September. We have sent mails, filled webforms yet no response. Is there any other thing we can do? Thank you |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by AbelAbdul: 3:39pm On Jul 08 |
lanresz:I'm aware of that. I did thorough research on all of them months agao. University of Niagara Falls was established in 2024. It's a new private school. I listed those schools for the PhD guy to tell me which among them is owned by the Chinese. |

Samadict:Waiting on IRCC is like waiting for the second coming of Jesus Christ. No one knows when He will come, but we know He will come. Sometimes it's simply a case of an officer looking at your application and deciding they'll get to it when they have time. Sadly, there's nothing you can do to speed up that process. If they need any additional documents or information, they will contact you. You've already done what you can by submitting a web form and emailing them. At this point, there's really nothing more you can do except wait. Hopefully, you'll receive some good news this July so you have enough time to prepare for school starting in the first week of September. Just one question: Was the application only for him, or were you included as a dependent on his application? and what does the online application status say for eligibility and background check |

Samadict:I know you are worried, but at this point, all you can do is pray and wait. There's really nothing more that can be done right now One thing I always tell people is that IRCC works on its own timeline, and they will definitely teach you patience. You might see other people getting their visas in just a few weeks and start wondering if something is wrong with your application In my opinion, Thanks to COVID IRCC has actually improved. Back in 2015, study permit processing could take 4 to 5 months on average crazy yes... I am sure there are still some visa officers who like doing things the old-fashioned way taking their time and making applicants wait forever.... they had some Officers who only used desktop so during covid they didn't work for months claiming them can not go to the office so they had to get them laptops then.. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/transparency/committees/cimm-dec-02-2020/cimm-retooling-ircc-dec-02-2020.html No, it's not you. It's just IRCC and the way they operate. I once waited 10 months for my permanent residence Card application back in 2020, while other people received theirs in less than three months. I am talking about Card not the application it was during covid but still 10 months to get a card is crazy but thats IRCC There was absolutely nothing wrong with my application it was just IRCC being IRCC.... They publish processing timelines, but not every visa officer finishes applications within those timelines.... its just an average Don't lose hope. Keep praying, be patient, and wait. IRCC has been doing this for years, and many applications that seem delayed are eventually approved... and I pray that will be your story AMEN .....before July ending or first week of Aug you will hear from IRCC |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Samadict(f): 6:03pm On Jul 08 |
amnotapervert:Amen. We hope we get an approval before July ends. We got a mail from school saying we must upload a copy of the approval latest 31st of July or we forfeit our offer and the funds aren’t refundable. |

| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by amnotapervert(m): 6:13pm On Jul 08 |
Samadict:The school is trying to make sure their yearly student quota is reached and wants to ensure they have enough international students enrolled to meet their financial targets. It is not you holding things up; it is IRCC. The school is just taking precautions. Even if it goes past the first week of August, hopefully it does not get to that point and you receive a reply from IRCC. Your admission is still intact; the school’s concern is mainly based on uncertainty and fear on their side....which should not affect you |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by AbelAbdul: 6:17pm On Jul 08 |
SantiRAMBO:Someone would say it's impossible. According to the, it should take 2 weeks and above. Congrats to you. |
