jaxxy:This is the best opinion so far. Honda Accord cannot tolerate the kind of abuse that Toyota tolerates. And as a commercial car user, you'll want to cut corners in maintenance just to save cost. So Honda might not be the best for you. But if you wantba personal car and are sure you can maintain it regularly and your mechanic is not a criminal, then Honda is great for you. DC is a car you'll enter and you'll know this is a personal car not taxi. Especially if you install android screen. Bam!!! |

I have used same car for more than a year doing Uber. I changed from Toyota Corolla 2010 to DC because of maintenance cost. I couldn't keep up. DC has been serving me, I changed both engine and gear box for less than 700k, the parts are far cheaper than Toyota, but if u want fuel economy I suggest u go for Corolla or Honda irobot, DC is not economic with fuel. Though I converted mine to CNG. |

Mountbatten:says who , am using Honda Accord EOD 04 and the car serves me like a hero the only issues are the ball joints if you can get the original and knows when it's gets bad you are good to go you can compare Honda And Toyota in terms of maintenance cost Toyota cost way higher |

maxiuc:Oga Honda stated their premium quality from 2017. Perhaps you don't know the meaning of premium as refers to cars, not your everyday use of premium . Expensive is different from premium |

Kingdavid579:That's the car I'm currently using. I bought mine a few months ago. My advise go with a mechanic to inspect the car. If you can scan it, better. Check the engine and gearbox. Make sure the gear selects well. Generally the car is a sweet ride. Honda built that car way ahead of its time. The handling is superb The speed is great The AC Na freezer The sound system? Oh my goodness! Mine has heated seats and heated side mirrors Volume control on the steering. The parts are cheaper than its counterpart Toyota. Imagine I bought shock absorber for 8k direct Belgium. In terms of fuel consumption make sure the oxygen sensor is working. If the thermostat is there it's an added advantage for fuel economy. The gear is a 5speed automatic, so on long distance journey it is more economical. You have to be careful about the ball joint maintenance. Buy original ball joint 12k and you won't experience leg pull. Also make sure they put locking pin after tightening the nut. Enjoy your car. |

If you are lucky, you might get a good Naija used that will serve you; if you are unlucky, start saving money for a new gearbox and engine. Aside from that and AC problems, the car will serve you. Pay attention to the legs and sensors. Then you are good to go. But my advice is that if you do not have the money to buy two of that car type, better buy a tokunbo CRV 99/2000. It will serve you while you save Money for Tokunbo 2007. Avoid anything Naija used due to a poor maintenance culture. Honda and Acura are generally maintenance-sensitive cars. |

aumeehn:I converted my Honda Accord 07 a year ago, it has been wonderful. For example, from where I live to the office cost 10k petrol daily (to and fro) that's 50k per week. After I converted to CNG, it cost me 2k (to and fro) that's 10k weekly with CNG. So you can see the cost saved by CNG. I still buy petrol like 5k weekly, because the car starts with petrol and switches to CNG, I warm the car with petrol every morning then when I want to drive out I switch to CNG. Some people don't mind starting their cars in the morning with CNG but I prefer petrol to start to give my pistons little lubrication before I switch to CNG. The only downside to CNG is the cylinder weight in your trunk. Since I began Uber fully, I had to add a second cylinder to make it total of 2 cylinders, that's because it helps reduce the amount of time I frequent the station to buy(CNG queues are kind of tough in Abuja where I live because we have few stations and many car owners have converted especially since iran and USA war increased the price of petrol. I must say it is the only reason I am still doing e-haling. |

OCHKESTINE:That means the CNG thing is actually kind of hybrid because you can still use ur petrol to drive if you want . For instance,if the CNG has finishes ,u can switch to your petrol and drive till u refill ur CNG? |

| Re: Honda Accord 2007 DC (4-cylinder): Good First Car Or Premium Headache? by OCHKESTINE(m): 7:51pm On Jul 14 |
JayJ27:I have been using Honda DC for Uber/Bolt for 1 year. I converted to CNG before I began using it. Doubled my CNG cylinder to reduce my refill so I can go wherever ride leads me without a fear of running out of Gas. My response was to a question someone asked about daily profits. I have a daily target of 30k, half of my gas gets me that while the other half is for the next day. |
