Woman Alleges EFCC Broke Into Her Home at Night, Assaulted Her and Arrested Her Husband

To support her claims, the woman showed what she said were injuries on her back, alleging they were sustained during the beating by the EFCC officials.

There is no law court on social media. If her claims are true and HER HUSBAND IS CLEAN, she should approach the court asap for redress, compensation and public apology from the EFCC. Nigerian officials should be routinely trained on how to engage, handle and manage civilians whom they claim to be working for.

This is weird because a lot of people are saying the same thing about EFCC. I mean their mode of operation. Why do they always go to these houses in the dead of night ?? If this common narrative about them breaking down doors and scaling fence is True..mHow are they different from armed robbers? Human right? That does not exist within the Nigeria military and para military architecture.

You saw when they were testing your fence for electricity...you know when they were covering your CCTV so that their faces will not be seen....you also know when they were breaking down your door.. common sense did not tell you they will come into your room?

Coming from the same person who never stops lamenting banditry, armed robbery, and insecurity, yet is always quick to attack law enforcement agencies over stories he knows nothing about. He's right. If there's suspicion of that kind of criminality as you memntioned, it's their duty to pass it on to the most appropriate sister agency to investigate and prosecute.

Something I know about this EFCC is that when you are not a suspect they won't come.
Living a flamboyant and luxurious life without a meaningful business or a good paying job is one of those things EFCC will suspect you. They don't just rage every apartment like that. Sometimes they got a tip off from your neighbours.
Sometimes last year EFCC visited our apartment where I live in Port Harcourt, hitting my neighbours doors and breaking, that was around 4 am. They arrested them. I came out of my house to my balcony, I stood there watching the whole event. One of the EFCC guys pointed a torch light on me and saw me, he didn't question me.

Trust me these boys they came for were yahoo boys
