Yes. She tried abeg. Romaine Gandanou is a real handful. The No.5 is good.

I knew Romaine will turn up at home but I am glad the girls turned up more than she did, especially Queen Joseph who I was expecting more from in rhe first leg. Oh, she really owned this second leg. Well done to the girls.

As for Gandanou, she will be a problem for opponents at the U20 WC.
So the Flamingoes will be in Group B of the U17WWC

Fine move. Fine Toni grin

Schemerkhiz:
🇮🇹 Inter have signed Super Falcons forward Toni Payne following her departure from Everton.

The 31-year-old Nigerian attacker has signed a deal until 2028. 🇳🇬✍️

Matchday....

Benin U17 vs Flamingoes 2nd Leg.

WC Ticket on the line.

Sorry Romaine Gandanou, you already have the U20 WC ticket with Benin U20. This U17 WC ticket is OURS! Kindness Ifeanyi and Precious Oscar about to bag double WC tickets (they did already with the U20s). grin
And they did oooo. So excited. The battle was indeed tops. Double WC tickets for Kindness and Oscar.

Romaine should be content with the U20 WC ticket. grin

Gutted for Ashleigh Plumptre and Chioma Okafor.

Francesca Ordega na waste of space. Ordega wey go dey run and her yansh go shoot out dey impede her motion, na hin we still dey carry go tournament in 2026?

Osinachi Ohale - She's past her best and gets beaten a lot for pace these days but her man-marking ability, defensive organization and experience got her on the plane.

Asisat Oshoala - Na her rep still dey keep her for team. Hasnt been it in the past few years.

Our Super Falcons players siddon tight attitude dey worse than Nigerian politicians .

Make Madugu no look Uche face. He should be bold and pick his starters based on performance and form, not past reputation.

Wishing the team the best and hope they win our 11th WAFCON title

CAF has appointed Yemisi Akintoye as one of the match officials for the upcoming 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

Akintoye will be making her 2nd consecutive appearance at the continent's biggest women's football tournament.

Before heading to Morocco, Akintoye will take charge of today's Nigeria Women's Federation Cup final between Heartland Queens and Nasarawa Amazons in Asaba.

Nice one!

I’m backing her to be the first ever Nigerian head (center) referee to be appointed for a senior World Cup next year.

Manageable choice. She would not make it if Plumptre was fit and if Chidinma Okeke was maybe in form. Nicole Payne only just returned to action too.
Thanks. Chidinma Okeke should have been the right replacement.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it yet but the implication is that Toni Payne will play in the Champions League next season. Great move.

I would have picked Chidinma Okeke ahead of Madugu favorite girl Sikiratu Isah..

Okeke is more experienced, her Defensive Ability and Athleticism is way ahead of Isah and she would have brought in more Physicality to the Defense considering the kind of attackers they would face…

I can’t play Isah in a game against Banda, and the Chawinga Sisters but can play Okeke💯

Okeke thrive in Physical games

As for this Wafcon, hope we are ready to accept that Morocco will be heavily favoured? Im not expecting 11th title fr. Make we just go World Cup. Dazal.
Motsepe is under pressure to ensure Morocco get one title. Make we sha dominate the individual awards after the blatant robbery from last time. Especially for Esther and Rasheedat.

Typical about the glaring antics by caf for men and women's football towards favouring Morocco? You're hilarious. This is nothing typical.

The SuperFalcons will certainly win the WAFCON, but it will be down to their individual quality, which on the world stage won't be sufficient. They will qualify, though. Very easily, in fact.

Just don't come here and be screaming madugu when they lose ......during waldrum time the girls were talentless right ? Ok ...everybody get their own agenda...if to say magudu carry your player MacLean go AWCON he'll be the best coach ever

I’m not a fan of Madugu and would never be, if they win the WAFCON, I will still praise the players for their exploits..

By the way if my player is in the team I should come and announce their name to you Abi?

Madugu fanboy what does Sikiratu Isah contribute to the national team?

When waldrum took MacLean to the Olympics what did she contribute? Meanwhile I'm not fanboy of anyone...you can call me fan boy of super falcons and super eagles

Me I'm more for the WC spot and then doing all it takes to have a WC like Morocco men's team did in 2022 for this Super Falcons team. No need to win wafcon. We don choke. Not that I'm against it cos they're more than capable of defending the title. But that's just what my eyes are on.

Madugu fanatic what does Waldrum and MacLean have to do with the question I asked you? Do you think I defend people's senseless decisions like you?

The truth is you're lobbying for your players to get into super falcons and that's been difficult with magudu in charge ....we the fans don't want people like you close to the super falcons
