Buhari Remains the Only Sitting President to Have Addressed Nigerians in Hausa — Osuntokun

The late President Buhari achieved his aspiration to live and die as a Northern hero. His military regime was a dictatorship and remains the only administration in Nigeria where both the head of state and his deputy came from Hausa-Fulani stock. However, he also had a strong reputation as a man of integrity and a crusader against corruption. While he was a hero of the north he did not govern well. His appointments were categorically a northern dominated government

The North were mute and did not complain when Buhari appointment was a Northern dominated government. But when majority of Tinubu appointments came from the south they begin to raise eyebrow and threaten fire

Lagos-Ibadan media doing their usual work forgetting thir paymaster Tinubu is worse than Buhari in almost all ramifications. Buhari was far more democratic and never intruded into the operations of opposition parties.

That man was the worst mistake Nigerians made. He made tribalism and divisionism a common place in the country.
Before him Nigerians, Igbo, Hausa or Yoruba all feel like one.
He has no idea how to unite the country like yaradua or Obasanjo did.
The effects of his mismanagement is still ongoing today.
