I was rooting for Tchou earlier in the window. Now I don’t want INEOS to tchoos him. He’s going to be an unnecessarily expensive player we might think we could afford.

I’m not against us making expensive signings, I just don’t think it’s the right time to splash in the current phase of our squad building.

The problem with this new management ( lNEOS) is their prioritization of business over football.High money or not we need quality footballers.Tbh our signing so far has been poor.l dnt really know what to expect this season.

The problem is that, in addition to the signings we’ve made already, we need:
- An LB
- A DM
- A backup Striker
- An LW (if we can offload Rashford)
- Potentially another senior CB (if Martinez and De Ligt keep competing with the Resident Surgeon for Tenure at the clinic)


That’s like 5 signings and these days, everybody costs €100 million. We don’t have €500m to spend in one window so we are forced to be smart in the market.

Personally, I would like us to look for value signings for backup striker and LB and splurge on DM and LW
