Overrated ke? El fenomeno. Dude was spectacular during his playing career. Injuries took a toll at a point but he was the most complete striker before injuries affected his playing career. Van basten was world class as well. A delight to watch. R9 is not overrated.

That record belongs to Messi. But if it's in a world cup game, Okocha holds that record. But in any game at all, Messi holds the record for most successful dribbles.
But personally, the most complete forward and best player will always be Ronaldo the Phenomenon Delima.

R9 is not overrated, he's spectacular....one of the bests. But VB was, is and will remain my greatest finisher of all times behind Pele and ahead of R9.

He's called that for a reason. He's my best all day all time behind Pele and ahead of R9. But in modern football(21st century) I would place Cristiano ahead.

Well it depends which angle he is basing his claims, really jay jay okocha is among the greatest dribblers football has ever seen! He is among the five 5 GOATs in dribble, others on the list are Ronaldihno, professor Zidane, Leo Messi and Maradona

Firstly, it's unarguably insane to single out one player over the whole team's efforts just for analysis.
Secondly, Van Basten was a better CF than Ronaldo Brazil.
He had pain reliefs before the game although everyone does that, I do take pain relief drugs whenever I couldn't afford to play a match due to my both ankle injuries long time ago.
Analysis: Van Basten is a better finisher, R9 is a more complete attacker just like Pele and Ronaldo Portugal. They could play from anywhere upfront unlike Van Basten. Performing so good and winning world trophies at national level is baseless to me, doesn't prove to me how good players are just like that.
I don't mean to say Ronaldo Brazil is overrated, we know he's among the best but finishing for me he ain't better than Van Basten.

Dude obviously don’t know Van basten…..R9 is overrated and even had a short career span cos of his injuries and he didn’t single handedly won his team a World Cup, dude don’t know football, he didn’t feature much and that final he took his chances as any good CF will.
