Amovingman:Please Justwise, I would appreciate it if you do not delete this post so it can remain as a reference. For some reason, Amovingman continues to call me names from time to time. I have never asked anyone for an account number. I have never asked anyone for money, and nobody can come forward with evidence showing that I have requested money through email, messages, or anywhere else. Over the last few months, I have been accused of being a scammer, an agent, and other things, yet no evidence has ever been provided Even if I post a picture of myself in Canada, some people will still refuse to believe me because they have already made up their minds. It is interesting that after creating this account, within 24 hours, then you start to attack me. I enjoy posting, sharing my experiences, and helping people understand immigration issues for free. I have never charged anyone a single dollar for the information or guidance I provide Anyone can post a picture of themselves in Canada, but can they show the full journey and documents that got them there? Study visa 2017 , study permit 2017, co-op work permit 2018, PGWP 2019, PR 2020/2021, citizenship 2024. Amovingman, if you cannot provide evidence or expose the things you claim to know about me, then please stop making accusations.

KhennieGee:How did you find out that NYSC cert is required by IRCC? Did you mean you're starting school this September and you haven't submitted application yet? |

I’m sorry for your refusal. I also got refused for similar reasons. In my case my father is my sponsor and owns a manufacturing company. We had paid half of the first year tuition fee, 18000CAD using one of the company’s account (UBA). Months before my submission my sponsor routinely transferred money from his other company account (Access) to his personal (Access) . He moved about 5m every week. Now, I only submitted CAC, 2 company bank statements and his personal bank statement as well as receipt of tuition paid. However I never submitted a status report showing my sponsor solely owned the company, Nor did I submit invoices of sales showing that the company funds were genuinely from sales of the manufactured items. So I guess I screwed up there. I have deferred my admission to January while my sponsor rebuilds his statements, cos he has spent money from his accounts. I’m looking to reapply in October and I’ve also engaged an RCIC cos just like you I’m tired and frustrated. I’ve attached my ODN, if anyone wants to give an advice for my reapplication moving forward, I’m all ears 🙏🏼 ColdHunter:

Drey143:I got two visa refusals back in 2015 and 2016, but I finally got my visa on my third attempt in 2017 Don't give u.... Just make sure you address the concerns the visa officer mentioned in your refusal. The beauty of the officer's notes is that they explain what the officer was thinking before refusing your application. They also help you understand what you need to improve to make your next application much stronger. You are closer to getting your visa than you think. Make the necessary corrections, submit a stronger application, and don't lose hope. |

Drey143:Bro, the officer's notes tell you exactly what to fix — it's a source-of-funds problem, not an amount problem. For the reapplication: Explain every lump-sum deposit. Each large credit in the statement needs a paper trail — sale agreement, dividend, contract payment, transfer from a documented account. Unexplained deposits = automatic doubt. Show 6+ months of stable history, not balances that spiked just before applying. If the money moved around, add a one-page funds-flow note tracing where it came from and where it sits now. Fix the business account gap. Include CAC registration/status report showing your dad as owner/director, plus a signed letter from him (on company letterhead) confirming the funds are available for your studies, backed by an affidavit of support. Reduce what they have to trust. Prepay a year's tuition (or get a GIC if eligible) so the officer sees committed funds, not promises. Add a fresh SOP/LOE that directly addresses the refusal reasons and rebuilds the return-home ties story — R216(1)(b) was triggered by the funds doubt, so fixing funds usually fixes both. Don't rush it back in — a reapplication with the same evidence gets the same result. Rebuild the file first. Goodluck. |

Thank you all for the kind words and assistance. I will attempt to fix them and reapply against January, this time as a lone applicant without any dependant. |

ColdHunter:I'm so sorry for your refusal. Just attend to the quereis of the VO and reapply you will get it. PS: Pls be careful not to fall into the hands of a wrong agent. I will advise you do everything on your own. Where you are lost, ask questions. Avoid agents. Wishing you success in your next application. I am quiet sure that some of them have private chat you offering to assist. Ignore them. It's your money they are after nothing else. Do everything yourself and ask questions if you get confused. |

Mavor:I already answer this concern before, the second program was discontinued prior to admission process, I am giving option to enroll another program making it 2 years, which I intend to do before the end of my 1 year program |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Geetee111(m): 10:07pm On Aug 03 |
amnotapervert:Yes, I already put in word with the school to enroll another program to making it 2 years…. I am not settling for a 1 year program oh! |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by amnotapervert(m): 12:35am On Aug 04 |
Geetee111:Good... remember you will still apply for study permit for the remaining extra one year.... show POF and all that..... Please, anyone considering a one-year program should think carefully before making that decision. one year PGWP can move very fast In most cases, it's not worth it unless you already have a CRS score of around 460–480 and only need Canadian education (40 points ) plus one year of Canadian work experience (40 points) to boost your score to the 500's https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/mandate/policies-operational-instructions-agreements/ministerial-instructions/express-entry-rounds.html

You don't need an NYSC cert. At least, I never uploaded any, yet got my permit approved. KhennieGee: |

| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by amnotapervert(m): 5:30pm On Aug 04 |
WantsandMore:That was in 2015 and 2016, when the Canadian dollar was not as expensive against the naira as it is today. However, the principle behind my visa refusal can still be applied today. Calculate your total school fees for the entire duration of your program. For example, if your tuition for a two year program is CAD $35,000, add that to the current Canadian living expense requirement, which is about CAD $22,895. Then add another CAD $5,000 for miscellaneous expenses. That means your minimum Proof of Funds should be around Minimum CAD $62,895 https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/study-permit/get-documents/financial-support.html Now convert that amount to naira, and you will have a realistic idea of how much you need.... As for someone you know who has cold feet because of the cost or the fear of rejection, they need to understand that life is full of "no's." Success comes from getting just one "yes." No successful person heard "yes" the very first time they tried something. Rejection is part of the journey. You need to develop an "I am looking for one yes" mentality because the Canadian journey comes with a lot of rejection. From getting a study permit, to securing a work permit, to finding a job, to obtaining permanent residence, to becoming a Canadian citizen, to buying your first home, to purchasing an investment property, or even changing jobs you will hear many "no's." The important thing is that you only need one "yes" at each stage to move forward. So don't carry a mindset that is defeated by rejection. Don't let every "no" overpower you. Stay focused, keep improving, and keep moving forward until you get that one "yes."
