Carrick for me made a subtle demand with this interview last season.

I think the Rashford debacle is hindering progress in this regard.

Woulda prefered us to tidy transfers ASAP with the new signings joining in pre-season games but we probably need to be patient till the end of the TW.

If we go by the signings, Man United has slightly improved when compared to last season.

We will definitely sign two more players before the window closes, because it seems like the club are running things lowkey now.

I hope we focus on 2 more defenders and forget that midfield for now.

We don’t have to win domestic cups…in fact, we don’t have to win any trophies this season, so carrick should just play our academy boys in domestic cups.

The squad and style of play should just keep improving gradually, season upon season. Before you know it, we will be UCL and EPL contenders in 2 years.

Those signings other clubs are making don’t freak me again. You can spend a huge amount of money and still get it wrong. A good example is Liverpool of last season.
