Is like this year is for Morocco o 😂. They have dismantle SA ,only Nigeria / Cameroon standing between them and trophy 🏆. Zambia would have been another rough opponent. Nigeria must win to avoid play off saga .

They’re paying heavily for that mistake now

MAR gently dismantling their team.
It was a huge mistake

Morocco into the semifinals, and qualify for the World Cup.

First time that two North African (and MENA) teams will play at a single edition of the FIFA Women’s World Cup

CAF don't seed top teams....they seed by FIFA ranking or performance in previous AWCONS ...before Una start another conspiracy theory
Spainever:
CAF seeded top teams like South Africa so that they can avoid Morocco for the world cup ticket , unfortunately SA failed to top the group . Nigeria must take their chances tomorrow. Nigeria must avoid the play off saga

Demehin was issued a straight red card against Zambia.
This means she’s on a Two game suspension- therefore, she’s ineligible to play against Cameroon.

My line up

Nope. It was only a one-game suspension for her.

I suspect it is a one-game suspension because he offence wasn’t deemed to have endangered the safety of the opponent. Usually that would result in a 2-match (or more) suspension

I hate this thing ehn. I feel it’s so stupid. Just pay the girls all their bonuses and reward them after the trophy. If you have so much dollars, plough it back into the female league and grassroots football
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 6:17am On Aug 09
Yeah ...all those free money should go into grassroot football ... imagine what $10,000 would do to the Nigerian women or the women championship

I thought it doesn't matter who madugu put in the line up since it's all individual brilliant carrying the team and not his coaching

lmao
Schemerkhiz:
Madugu better not play a Single Pivot just because he wants to accommodate Ijamilusi on the line up, he na push Rash to the midfield..

I just hope Madugu remembers that Christy Ucheibe has no business on the bench …

Playing her is like having at least 1 & 1/2 player in the lineup already..

Either Ucheibe and Ayinde or Abiodun

It's Asisat that will pick the starting lineup...and ordega will make the subs ...the girls do everything by themselves.... madugu has no hand in it.

Hope JM knows that there is a World Cup ticket at stake.
Enough of all this rotation stuff he keeps doing.
The best legs must start against Cameroon and in the future.

Familiar foes in sight. Super Falcons ready to soar again.

😮‍💨

I experienced a very vivid dream this morning, where we lost to Cameroon 2-0.

We had chance after chance after chance to no avail and ended up getting undone by two very late goals from one Cameroon substitute. She was short and had beards (don't ask me how) 🤧

Somebody pour me water.

so if you perform woefully in the tournament and you rank high in fifa, you will get seeded

That's the format the men's playoff followed so it's a safe assumption that the women won't be any different.

Also you can perform any more woefully than your competitors. You all literally got kicked out of the quarter final hence the need for a playoff run. It's not like there's a "better" loser quarterfinalist.
