right, depression is the devil. Only way i can support suicide is someone suffering from terminal illness which has reached its chronic stage. Instead of seeing them suffer each day with no cure, just let them go

Please note; If you are feeling down or depressed, feel free to vent, find someone nice to vent out to and please guys try to give a listening ear, do not insult or mock them, it will make them feel worse. Even if you can't do much to help, just by listening to them when they vent really helps them feel better. Talking to someone helps. Don't be ashamed to vent out whatever is bothering you, you may feel no one cares but some really do care✅

these cases are the ones that couldn't vent out to someone, people who are too quick to take a drastic decison and the devil is the chief mastermind

depression can lead to suicidal thoughts. What do you think causes suicide aside someone feeling down? Or you think anyone can just wake up one morning and decides to end their life for no reason at all?

I know what it feels like to be depressed but ending it all is not the solution. You only transfer the pain to your loved ones who will keep mourning you

You don't know if she was sexually abused at a young age in her life or if she had a serious ailment like cancer.

Many reasons for someone to want to end their life.

Na spiritual attack, or maybe she take high substance. Students do take colos don't write that out. Depression is also another possibility. Only the parent or guardian will role out fact about the level of her depression

We are living in a society where 90% of people wont listen to such a person especially if he/she is poor. They will think the person is only concorted story to get favour. The remaining 10% only had about 3% to give reasonable advise and cares. Life has been getting worse for depressed people since we starts copying western style of living.

The best thing you can do in life is to train your children how to be bold and tough in their approach to life. What i have noticed so far is that, tough and conscienceless people rarely have depression, high blood pressure or mental related issues.

I am of the same opinion as with the lady you quoted, you don't own your life.
I feel pity for anyone who has died from suicide,like you thought you'd escaped from these temporal suffering and emotional pain and dieing to face an eternal suffering you imposed on yourself.

People who die by su!cide are often very courageous, but they don't realise it. It takes a lot of courage to reach the point of wanting to end your own life.

Upbringing matters a lot. Teach your children about both sides of life ----the good and the bad ---because it will benefit them in the future.

Help them understand that not everything will always go the way they want, and that disappointment, failure, and difficult times are all part of life.

I see all the whole “she will be judged after death” “she shouldn’t have taken her life” “she didn’t even consider her parents”

Most times we are not open with our thoughts and expression we don’t ask the right questions like “what was she going through” “was she abused or harassed” “was it economic or financial issues” “ was she battling some kind of ailment” “was she under family or peer pressure”.

In this part of the world mental health is not taken seriously everyone just think one is too young or too beautiful to go into depression
Depression knows no one as it can happen to anyone at any point in time..God bless her soul

While it is not d best decision to take. I salute n respect ur decision. IT IS NOT EASY AT ALL. I HAVE GONE THROUGH SEVERAL DEPRESSIONS in d past n I know my feelings then , suicidal thoughts was always an option n I relief if u don't have any one close to confide in. Sadly , a depressed person is hardly noticed especially if he/she can switch his/her mood when people are around. I KNOW IT . May God Almighty give u rest sister.

Why can't we allow a thorough proper investigation to rule out murder? Even the caption of the story here has already celebrated 'she jumped to her death'. This is just how not to think.

Depression is real! Unfortunately, there are not much help in Nigeria on metal health!

I have been there but suicide is not a good way out. Please lets help as many around us as possible, Helping is not necessarily in material stuffs! Giving a listening ear, rendering quality counsels can go a long way in helping the fellow to have a better understanding of the condition. Being there for them help to boost self-esteem and lower the risk of self-harm.

May her soul rest in peace.
