Schemerkhiz:How would the other keepers step up when they've not been given any opportunity to woman ( man) the post) ? Nnadozie needs to understand that it's very difficult to get your position back as a keeper if you're displaced |

AkinDS:Calm down Precious Dede have saved four penalties in a game before , Nnadozie did it while much younger in All African Games and i think it’s against Cameroon or CIV… Maybe Madugu Coaching the team also contributed to all the players fumbling… NFF should be doing better with Coaches appointments not that clueless PHE teacher. |

AkinDS:Did you watch the friendly match against Cameroun last year just before the Wafcon The free kick Nnadozie saved ? She’s dropped form, doesn’t mean she’s miles behind the Cameroun goalie Chiamaka has saved Super Falcons several times This tournament is not just hers probably because of lack of competition She’s been number 1 since 2019 7 years, time flies fast, give her some grace I didn’t watch the Cameroun semis against Morocco but what I believe was that the free kick goal was a fluke Nnadozie didn’t do enough to parry the ball away from goal She improved performance compared to the woeful Malawi game We may not know what could be going on in some of these players lives emotionally for us to be too harsh on them, maybe one guy don go break her liver lol Even though I know they are professionals Cameroun won’t beat Nigeria if we had a second chance at them If Okoronkwo had passed to Oshoala who was in a better position we won’t be talking about this today I wish Falcons good luck against South Africa Maybe people need to watch Nnadozie’s career highlights before they make statements like she’s miles behind the Cameroun goalie |

Exactly what some of you all said when you saw Andile Dlamini. Some of you jump the gun too quickly on this thread. Let Michaely continue and stay consistent as Nnadozie has done. Nnadozie did not become Nnadozie because of one brilliant tournament alone. I have seen Annette from same Cameroon too. AkinDS: |

Thank you. You recall correctly. 2014 and 2016. Annette was a beast. Very hard to beat. GeneralDae: |

According to reports, Ibrahim Gusau is expected to win the upcoming NFF elections by a landslide despite an underwhelming performance as president in the last four years. Nigerian institutions adores failure and incompentency so much. This is the worst administration I have ever witnessed. Copied |

| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 8:15am On Aug 13 |
AkinDS:Baba, you're selling your Nnadozie stock too early. Has she been mediocre this tournament? Of course she has. But her pedigree is too deep to discount her too early. The Cameroonian is of course the best goalkeeper this year, no one is denying that, but she has years of insane goalkeeping catalog to catch up with to be considered at par with Chi. Worthy of note is that she's yet to face a world class attack. Yes she's done amazingly well this tournament, but she's yet to face a world class attack. Let's allow her face top teams like Nnadozie has done most of her career before we even consider crowning her. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 8:19am On Aug 13 |
solonnachi:It's okay to admit you're wrong now. It doesn't make you any less. "Could meet" suggest a possibility of it happening even though not a guarantee. The possibility however according to the rules doesn't exist. That is there is zero percent probability 2 African team will meet after the continental playoff match. Like none, zero, zilch. So either of could or would in this case will be wrong. |

I've seen a few persons comment on Nnnadozie's body weight and I feel the need to address this again. I have once spoken about this and won't get tied doing so. Commenting on a women's body weight isn't very appropriate, particularly because you're unsure as to the underlying cause. I'm almost certain it has little or nothing to do with indiscipline either in diet or habit. This lady has played for world class teams with the best facilities and medical personnel available. I'm pretty sure discipline with her mean or exercise will be the least reason for this. Some women's weight are a result of hormonal changes in their body, something they have little control of. It's why we need to be circumspect when me make comments like this. This is not a denial of the fact that it isn't a concern, but we need to realize she's more concerned about this than we are cause her livelihood literally depends on her being fit. So it's gracious to assume she knows and is doing all she can to either work on it or manage the situation. |

Several examples in Wafcon history support your statement. ✅️2002 Wafcon showed this. Ghana beat Nigeria. Our first loss ever at the Wafcon. Ghana reached the final but lost to Nigeria. ✅️2008 Wafcon showed this. Equatorial Guinea beat Nigeria in the Semis 1-0. They eventually won the title. ✅️2012 Wafcon also showed this. SA beat Nigeria in the semis. Made the final but eventually fell to Equatorial Guinea. ✅️2018 Wafcon showed this too. SA beat Nigeria in the match opener and made it all the way to the final. Losing to Dennerby's Nigeria via Penalties. Oluehi PK heroics. ✅️2022 Wafcon is yet another example. SA beat Nigeria AGAIN in the opener. Made it all the way to the final and won it. ✅️Now @2026 Wafcon, the 2 teams that beat Nigeria are contesting the final. No be mistake. You are indeed a title contender if you do manage to get a win against the Super Falcons. Cameroon on one hand.... 3 Wafcon finals without a title. All in 2004, 2014 and 2016. Against one opponent - Nigeria. Can they end that "nearly man" curse? Malawi on the other hand... they may be debutants but for some years now, they have boasted 2 of the best players in Africa in the Chawinga sisters. Temwa and Tabitha. And have a rising fine player in Faith Chinzimu. Tabitha has even been rightly nominated for the CAF WPOTY in 2017, 2019, 2023, 2024, 2025 despite having never played at the Wafcon until now. Temwa has been nominated for the CAF WPOTY in 2023, 2024, 2025 despite no WAFCON appearance until 2026. May the best or luckiest contender win. ![]() GeneralDae: |

Just watching that late penalty incidence again... It's laughable it's given. I thought they said intention matters. |

GeneralDae:Yea..they did. My eyes are on the Algerian ladies this time. I love their swag lol. Unfortunately, they couldn't win yesterday. They're another excellent team I'm looking out for in the coming world cup. |

| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by GeneralDae: 10:40am On Aug 13 |
mostob:Their defence was easily out muscled by the Chawinga sisters and even the Ivorian attackers. They are defensively organised but too soft. |

AndSunGorilla:Physically am not scared for the Cameroonian 🇨🇲 side… They should be able meet up. Gone are those days when Cameroon used to have very physical defenders Defenders like Christine Manie, Augustine Ejangue, Aurelle Awona and Ysis Sonkeng…
