I thought love at first sight only existed in movies until I saw her. That fateful day, my guy was in my room when I saw her through my window as she arrived at my hostel with her mum. She had this Fulani-like look, and I couldn’t take my eyes off her for a second.

As I peered through the window, I told my guy, “That’s my future wife right there.”


He asked, “Who?”

I didn’t say anything, so he got up from the bed to catch a glimpse of what had caught my attention.

He burst into uncontrollable laughter and said, “Do you know you can pick up a career in comedy?”

To cut a long story short, we got married after graduation. Today, we’re blessed with two adorable children.
