Hohenheim:Is it that you are not actually following what's going on or you are just looking for an argument? You want answers? I believe you know the whole Julie Tetart, Sophie Cuningham and Sheryl Reeve story. Like A40 has said, cut the cancer before it spreads. The fact that other WNBA players didnt speak up to support Sophie Cunningham is a sign that what Kanter and Royce did was very much needed. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 7:29pm On Aug 11 |
Apparently Im under a rock at the moment. Don Nelson made living a full life look easy. Rest on pops! |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Hohenheim(m): 9:12pm On Aug 11 |
greypencils:Which WNBA team does this Tetart play for? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 7:44pm On Aug 12 |
Hohenheim:You're a naive individual. Either that or quite sinister I'm sure if there's a leaky roof in your house you would wait till it's rainy season before you fix it Now I don't have problems with them people. They have the right to exist but the point is it doesn't matter if it's 1 or 1 million. The pathway for competing with women in sports should be completely shut. Not this whataboutism and obfuscation tactics you are displaying Also the image below shows you're categorically lying and that is what a lot of you wokies are very skilled at doing

A40:Good find. The psychology of humans is that if you legitimize something, a certain portion of the population will take that path. Specifically in western societies, there are several mechanisms at play. For example family structures are under severe strain here in the west, people are pulling 14, 16 hours of work per day as single moms or single dads in some cases. So little attention is paid to children in their formative years. To make it worse, if you happen to be in some states like Cali, the school tries to actively encourage the students to 'explore' alternative options, trying to cut out parental authority. A child can do gender change without notifying the parent!! I can find it later, but I remember a community of hispanic immigrants fighting back against it. It got so brazen the lt. gov. showed up at a hearing to threaten them over their own children. Nvm, found a blurb on it: https://www.ewtnnews.com/world/us/california-parents-sue-governor-over-law-banning-notification-of-student-gender-identity I said all that to say, this trans in wnba thing is a long play, to set things up for the future. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 1:51am On Aug 13 |
Didn’t like his game , especially at the start but you couldn’t question his work ethics and dedication to the game and any team he played for. He tried to get a team but I don’t think it worked out. Happy retirement Brodie! |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 10:43am On Aug 13 |
birdman:Like Bro. Can you see what I'm saying. How can someone with his thinking faculties intact write that nonsense. They thrive on flat out deceit cos it's evident that their percentage while still small has grown in multiple fold There's already a movement to breakdown the traditional family and to disrupt normalcy. I have no problem with this cause the Good book says that's where we are headed anyway. There is a reason they are called "Progressive" they have to always be moving towards something. No matter how illogical. The WNBA tbh is not a sports league. They are a activist league and a platform for all kinds of things they want normalized Do you know how crazy times we have to be in when a woman cannot tell you what is a woman with a straight face. This is my problem with leftists and wokies. They are confused and intent on spreading confusion |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 10:45am On Aug 13 |
Roland17:Salute to him. Though he is one of those I feel like held on for too long. Guys have to learn to retire on top or close to it. You don't have to wait till the league flat out rejects you before you leave on your own terms. A guy like Russ shouldn't have to be bouncing from team to team on Vet minimums. Some things are beneath you |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Hohenheim(m): 5:43pm On Aug 13 |
A40:You're pretty much the sinister one here, you basically want the WNBA to get an answer and use it to search for a problem. When there are literally no trans people currently in the league or even as much as trying to make the league. You're trying to convince me that the biggest issue in the Wnba is trans people even though like 2 weeks ago absolutely nobody was talking about anything like this. Leave trans people the Bleep alone |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 6:26pm On Aug 13 |
Hohenheim:Lmao. This guy is insane. Who is disturbing them? I have absolutely zero problems with them outside of trying to compete with women. A40:Are you visually impaired or did you miss this? Says a lot about the mentality of you freaks that you view people saying transgenerals should not compete with women as an attack on them. Why is that? Why do you feel competing with women is also among their rights? Their rights is to food, shelter, employment and Healthcare not competing in sports. We saw it with Lia Thomas who won a D1 NCAA title in Swimming. So nobody has to wait for that farce to happen in basketball before speaking about it. And you're owed zero apologies for that |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 10:30pm On Aug 13 |
https://x.com/i/status/2087701837394706653 Wokeness and Confusion is 5 and 6 ![]() They really set up task force to deliberate what makes a woman. Crazy how they keep giving repressive cultures in the middle east ammunition |
| Re: The NBA Begins by greypencils: 3:48pm On Aug 17 |
Hohenheim:We will leave them alone when they stop trying to force their way into spaces they are not needed. They are not needed in women sports. We are coming for the WNBA because we know what the plan is already. Trans are already competing with women in college sports, professional sports is next. They found their way into the French women basketball league, why would the WNBA be any different? Trans are not needed in women's locker rooms, they are not needed in women's showers. They are not needed in women's sports. They should stay the Bleep out and do their own thing. No one cares until certain lines are crossed. They should stay in their lane and we would. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by greypencils: 11:46am On Aug 18 |
A40:Talking about mechanisms, see Jayson Tatum's father speaking out on being shunned by the media when his son made the league. The narrative out there is that black men are not involved in their children's lives and the media is reinforcing that narrative. Everything western is about weakening the power of men in favour of the woman. These are crazy times and we black men need to be aware and very careful. You can pile up wealth but one mistake with the opposite sex, even with ones spouse and one's years of hardwork can crumble into nothing. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 11:25pm On Aug 19 |
greypencils:I dont disagree with what you said, but practicing this is harder than it looks. Guys are very easy to fool, we will always fall for babes blessed with our favorite shape , now if the have a killer smile, we are sold 2 years later you are a baby daddy that cant see your kids while still paying child support. One practical way to start is to grow past which lady is hot, which is not. Trust and believe, they are all the same, na just packaging. Those ESPN babes brodas dey drool over, after one month seeing her from morning to night every day, that magic light will dissapear They will all grow older, lines will appear, no amount of beauty or make up can help you cope with bad character.Another way in addition, is to forgo court marriage. Just make sure the families are involved, because last, last, they will be the ones that can either scatter it, or keep the peace. If you are the guy, make sure you have her father's ears. Dont waste that access on trivial things, you might need him to step in one day. Worst comes to worst, its not a court marriage so they cant use lawyers to harass you. |

birdman:My guy, those are things I have considered through and through, One of the reasons I am still in Nigeria. I can't vouch that the family I have built will withstand the pressure of western feminism. I can't, so I wont take that risk. I done see the signs already, can't ignore it. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 1:28am On Aug 21 |
greypencils:A lot of it is by design and didn't start today as an outsider looking in I go back to Lyndon Baines Johnson (War on Poverty policy) that incentivized black fathers being kicked out the house The black family dynamics has never been the same since and this is what we have today. Chaos and bedlam It's why there's a growing number of these black men leaving the community behind and going to other races of women that recognize the importance of a present father and where the mother is not trying to be the star of the show. For some strange reason when the athlete's mother is not black the father is usually more visible |
| Re: The NBA Begins by etidy: 10:31pm On Aug 21 |
A40:Just look at this chart, I was watching a video recently that puts the out of wedlock child birth rate now close to 80% for blacks. It's almost like having a stable black family in the US is almost being erased and according to American standards life is already leading most children just for being black.

| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 11:29pm On Aug 21 |
A. Edwards has been ordered to pay $14K/ month in child support. This is how these players financially trap themselves for a lifetime. While it may not seem like a lot now but he will be making that payment over the next 18 years. At 25, he already has 4 kids, all under 3 years and a year or less apart from each other; Worsestill, I doubt he will stop. This is how they go broke! Does he have another 18 years to play in the NBA? Nobody knows.. I don’t know what is wrong with these guys. |

| Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 11:55am On Aug 22 |
Roland17:I typed a whole paragraph and just deleted it because it's of no use. I wouldn't say I have the perfect life enough to give an opinion but f* it. There has to be something these boys are seeing to make them do all their best to actively go this same route that has ruined the lives of hundreds of thousands of men. What is it biko? I don't want to hear it's a culture thing. What am I missing? 4 kids within how many years? And then he recently got married so maybe he's probably on the right part? It's confusing. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 2:24pm On Aug 22 |
etidy:If you are a marriage and family minded black man you have to embrace the reality that your options will have to include non blacks I was watching this Pop Balloon show the other day a young dude early 30s no kids was standing there and a lineup of 6 women. All of them had at least 1 child. Wtf are you supposed to do with that? It's so normalized that if you say you don't want that it's like something is wrong with you |
| Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 2:27am On Aug 23 |
SmooshCHN:Let me type the paragraphs for you ![]() Think about it like this: you grew up in naija, 2 parent home very likely. Both parents went to school all the way up to uni. Then got jobs, got married and raised a family. The reason this sounds normal to you is because that is what you saw your parents do. It is now a track that plays in your subconscious, so you most likely will do the same thing - go to school, get a job, marry one woman etc. And if your parents spanked you with belt, it will be very difficult for you not to do the same with your child, even if you know better. Why? What your parents modeled is what your inner man considers normal and it will always drift that way. Now imagine your grew up in an inner city yankee household with only your mom raising you. You have an irresponsible father that pops in from time to time, has like 8 kids by 3 different women, and cant settle in one place. That, is your normal, wether you like it or not. You were born into it, you didnt choose it. And it is now your curse: your inner man, your psyche will always drift in that direction, even though you know what it did to you. You have to do deep inner work, lasting years to break it. Instead, these rich athletes are partying, getting drunk regularly, spending nights in strip clubs. They will NEVER outrun the initial programming. Their psyche will slowly compel them to look exactly like pops by the time they are 50. And unfortunately for the youngns, they are too proud to consider that OGs who were in the game even before they were born had to slow down to not wreck themselves. I watched Anthony Edwards talking to Barack Obama during a bball game like he was playing his homie. Barack is a very cool guy, but dont let that fool you - even in yankee respect goes a long way. Best believe Barack took note, just kept silent, like other OGs will. The elders that could talk to him will just step back as his pride leads him down that dark road |
| Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 2:36am On Aug 23 |
A40:You start looking early, and you pray. Life is very spiritual, and I dont mean that in the spooky naija way. When you set you mind to a thing, certain events start to attract themselves to you. You will just be at some random gathering, and someone who knows you will suddenly see you in a different light, and just remember that they know someone that would actually fit you. Chance encounters are usually not chance. Something as serious as a life partner is too heavy to leave to "whatever will be will be". It is very likely Barack never even thinks about becoming president with a different kind of wife. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 8:56am On Aug 23 |
birdman:While I already know this, seeing you type it out makes it stick even better. What is normal to me can be completely abnormal to someone else. They can legit go out of their way to be "normal" to do what feels abnormal to me. Per the discussion at hand, I used to think that seeing how those terrible decisions eventually led the elders down a perilous path would be enough to make them rethink their own choices, but your write up puts it into better perspective. Also, I found that video with Obama somewhat uncomfortable to watch but comment section made it seem like I was on my own. I wouldn’t necessarily call it disrespectful because the more I watched it, the more it felt like the average "Ant" interaction, but deep down, it felt very off to me especially for who I thought Obama is/was to them. I can’t remember who Barack called in the video, but it felt like they were embarrassed on Ant’s behalf but still didn’t think to correct him or say anything about how he was acting. So I get what you’re saying now. It’s a deeper cultural and psychological issue and having money or even seeing where that path could eventually lead may not be enough to break someone out of that programming. That really puts it into perspective. Thank you. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 8:20pm On Aug 23 |
Roland17:Haha it makes sense why he doesn't want to be the face of the league. The problem with that community especially inner city young black men, they have no real mentors, no OGs. If you ask him I'm sure there's no man in his life or even in proximity that he aspires to emulate (no one is perfect but at least a rough sketch) Now I'm not going to judge him too harshly if I was his age on 9 figures I would have been wylin. He will look back with some regret though I will promise him that It's not about even going broke. I don't think that can happen to Antman. He has another 9 figure contract that erases that possibility barring anything crazy. But a lot of men don't realize that babies are a deeper tie than even marriage. I would take a divorced woman with no children over a single mom Whenever he wants to change he will regret forever being tied to certain women |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 9:46pm On Aug 23 |
birdman:Yeah early is crucial. A level of mumu and optimistic naivete is important. Past a certain point you just know too much. And as the saying goes. You either love em or you understand em and once you understand em you can get bored real quickly Environment also matters. Like they say Geography is destiny so you are also right with your example Third factor is the X factor. The other person. You can do your best. If the other person is not pulling their end of the rope there's not much you can do. Times have changed |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 9:49pm On Aug 23 |
SmooshCHN:Yeah he has that youngest nephew, last born of the family audacity and vibe. He is slowly getting to the age where that shit starts getting old and corny though. At some point you're just going to look like a doofus |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 10:24pm On Aug 23 |
A40:Let’s all pray and hope he has a long career because In sports nothing is given. He is 25 already with 4 all under 3 and we know he isn’t going to stop. You may think he is safe because he has contracts in front of him but it will definitely eat his pocket and that is why he was fighting in court over the paternity of the most recent baby. |

| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 11:51pm On Aug 23 |
Roland17:I think he would be aight as long as he stays away from California The bag today is absurd. Jokic is balking on extending for $280m cos next season he will be eligible for $350. At 33 y.o. How much more a younger franchise guy like Antman whose solely responsible for their relevance. They will pay him like they were paying KG at the time cos he was the price of admission Unless he's moving like Mayweather (I've always suspected boxing money is monopoly money) He would be fine. What will bother him more when he cleans his act up is the caliber of women that he got pregnant more than anything else. That post nut clarity would hit like a Buckshot. He's probably feeling it already which is why he is this nasty with them women |

Reasons why I would still give Lebron his props off-court night and day. Guys out here are wildin out, even those from 2 parent households. Me with my broke arse but small popularity in Uni, during NYSC and few years post NYSC, I knew the stunts I was pulling women-wise. I didn't even have to do much, they came with ease. I imagine how I would have been if I had some serious bag at that young age. I am older and wiser def now but had I come across serious money or fame at a younger age, maa ti ya iyakuya. I had a very very very decent upbringing by the way. |
