No list this week yet. Something is definitely up. I'm just coming from an Indian community and they are also complaining about the delay (not as much as ours though)

You can mail them anytime, but maybe make it at least 8 weeks (since the timeframe is 8-12 weeks) not that the timeframe is even being followed sef. When is your school resuming ?
14th September, deadline is 28th September.

Many people may have to defer at this point

Then you definitely need to start emailing them or even try calling. I was reading through some of the earlier messages here, and someone mentioned that they called the embassy and were told they weren’t attending to student visa applications at that time, even though the resumption date was already getting close.

It is well. just got this mail back

"Dear Sir/ Madam,

This application is still in queue for processing,

Due to the large number and complexity applications the current processing times will exceed the stated processing times.

A decision will be issued in due course.

Please follow up on the Weekly Decision Reports page to find out if your application has been decided.

All applicants are advised to refer to our website www. ireland. ie which advises of weekly decisions.

You will require your AVATS reference number to check this."

Since may, bruhh. I might have to start seriously considering deferral.

This is all shade of wrong, it's feels like it's a deliberate act. No decision for this week. By this time. They are looking for reason to reject application, by now they should have upload. It is well.

They are doing as it's pleases them. And we pay for there services. It is well.

Following this thread, I know the waiting period is stressful. I went through the same process a few years ago, moved from Nigeria to Ireland for my Masters, and today I work as a Technical Solutions Engineer here. It really does work out.

I put together a video covering the 10 things I wish I knew before I made the move (housing, weather, studying, work rules, all the honest stuff, not just the visa side). Might be useful while you wait, or once your decision comes through:

Wishing everyone in here good news on their visa 🙏🏾 Happy to answer questions too if anyone has any.

From what I heard, it skips all other steps and go to the Application decision or Application complete when they have made any decision on your application.

Sadly there's nothing we can do other than to just wait.

Email your school about your situation. They are well informed about late arrivals and usually have a final deadline to resume (usually 1-3 weeks after school resumes) .

So far, it's only about 3 people that shared they have gotten a decision for this September intake, going through the thread. The delay is general, everyone's complaining, even Indians. I'm guessing the application for this intake was a lottt

but it doesn’t take even 1 hour to accept or reject someone. Don’t just keep people waiting
Re: Ireland Study Visa thread,General Life Experience of Nigerians Living in Ireland by emy1206: 2:21pm On Sep 11
I don’t know how you can keep someone’s passport for 3 months, not minding if they have other engagements during this time. It’s actually unfair, they make their own principles and end up breaking them.
Re: Ireland Study Visa thread,General Life Experience of Nigerians Living in Ireland by Toolsin: 3:10pm On Sep 11
Abuja have 3 other 🌍 application.
The list uploaded weekly is for 4 🌍 country. Statically is like they treat less than 10 files from each. I heard lots of students are waiting. It is well.

this thing they are doing is unfair. No matter if it’s 10 countries
