CrystalTiger:Why are you so confident in this Yoro? Is it not the same Yoro we’re all watching? He’s looking more and more like another Fosu-Mensah to me. Heaven is far better for me. |

Pep Guadiola has a better football legacy than whatever legacy Ferguson will dream of All the players/coaches that tried managing after Ferguson dey always end up a pundit or comot hand for coaching entirely Carrick is the last man standing so far and him leg dey shake 😄😄 |

If we don't sort the Bruno midfield conundrum, we will keep struggling to outplay team. Bruno for me should be the false 9 if Carrick doesn't trust Sesko to start, so Mount for now or Baleba letter will come in and balance the midfield. Tielemans is playing too deep for us because Bruno play his position and Bruno will never be benched or substituted. Carrick must make this bold decisions if he want to succeed at United. The less said of Mbeumo, the better for me abeg... |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by larride(m): 6:48pm On Sep 14 |
TrebleChamp:If Sesko is not starting as our CF then it should be Mbeumo not Bruno replacing him. There's no evidence anywhere that Tielemans can play 8 better than Bruno. If Tielemans best position is Bruno position then he should sit on the bench. |

| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by dreamxhaser: 7:28pm On Sep 14 |
Omo! All these blames flying around eh😂 Well, as for me, the moment I saw the lineup I knew we were going to lose. My reasons are because he started Rashford and played Cunha in the false 9 role. Then after the red card given to City, I was 90% sure we were going to lose, because we would be forced to hold possession while City switched to counterattack. See eh, if you watched that match, you will notice Rashford was making stupid decisions and wasn’t marking. Hence, Dorgu was the one coming out to cover for him while they left space for City to exploit. Barca are not stupid to send him back. Cunha should have been started on the Rashford wing, Sesko played, then we manage Mbeumo on that wing before Amad returns. It wasn’t like we played badly, but Carrick is making our attack toothless with his stupid selections. Another thing is after the red card, the attackers started getting too comfortable and they were playing nonsense when they got to the 18. We dominated the match, and even before the red card, we were contesting the midfield. Carrick is making the same mistake Amorim did, which was to try and play possession ball, even after he played counterattacking football last season. Manchester United is not a possession club; he should leave that possession stuff for those Barca products (like arteta, enrique, and pep). He should switch to counterattacking full time with some touch of one-two passes then watch the results come in. Even Amorim played beautifully and dominated a lot of matches, but he did not win those matches because he played players out of position, so when it is time to attack in the clinical way, the players become clueless and disorganized. Well! We will finish top 4 this season and reach the round of 16 or quarter-finals in the UCL. So no panic. |

Our best partnership at the center of defense is De Ligt x Martinez... Yoro should be tried at RB, while Maz should own the left-back spot. I don't want to see Dalot and Dorgu as our starting fullbacks, even if it's a friendly game. I think Carrick has to be bold for the sake of those who still trust him. Mount and Mbeumo were the standout players during preseason, with Mbeumo up front and Mount playing in a midfield 2. Why Carrick refused to trust Mbeumo as the starting CF whenever Sesko is on the bench remains a mystery to me. Tielemans is not yet 100% fit; Mount should get more minutes... |

TrebleChamp:Tough away games...yes I think a sizeable percentage of our issues still bother round lack of urgency and drive to dominate games in a manner that would hurt our opponents. United play like a team that thinks the match is already won. The passing is slow, lazy, and harmless. Nobody moves off the ball, nobody stretches the pitch, nobody tries to hurt the opponent. It’s football with no urgency and no intent. Most times you have to check the score because the body language is the same whether we’re losing or winning. Carrick’s team carries a calm, 5–0‑up vibe even when we’re behind. I dont know if it's got anything to do with Carrick's laid back style as a player but we definitely need to improve in this regard. |

Dorgu at RB in the buildup to the goal while Halaand was left free to connect with the cross at the back post...lmao E be like say this guy isnt better than Malacia. Shey Maz no go dey start at LB vs quality opposition laidis? Perhaps it is even the defence coach that's been asking Carrick to keep him (Dorgu) far away from the back 4.. hence the manager's decision to play him at LW.

Just saw that our player had a day off yesterday. We lost on Sunday with one of the lethargic display ever, we have a match on Wednesday and our players are getting a day off training. We then wonder why our players are so slow and play like imbecil3s. What a club. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by spillo1: 9:50am On Sep 15 |
larride:It's not like the players have 3 games to play in a span of 7 days. I am sure more training and no rest will make them play better and not risk injuries. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Bombblacks: 10:03am On Sep 15 |
Englishisamust:What does Dorgu and Dalot has to do with your attack failing to score even one goal in over 60mins against 10 men? How many clear cut chances did your midfield make? Why was ten men city able to bypass the midfield with ease? You all will leave the most important question and start blaming individual players. Carrick is not good enough. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by larride(m): 10:14am On Sep 15 |
spillo1:Why even train at all. These world class athletes don't need to train, let them just up. 😂 On Wednesday, you'll start complaining and asking why they are so slow. These players can't believe their luck with these fanbase mehn. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by larride(m): 10:17am On Sep 15 |
Bombblacks:Carrick is not good enough yes. Dorgu and Dalot are shit also yes. It's almost like we were playing with two men down with those foöls. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by larride(m): 10:21am On Sep 15 |
See the aggressiveness that Enzo and Anderson were using to press and move the ball forward on Sunday. Our own players will be romancing the ball and taking almost 5 touches to release the ball. Maguire will want to pass and he will drive the ball close to the player he want to pass to before releasing the pass. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Bombblacks: 11:05am On Sep 15 |
larride:We didn't lose against city because of personnel. Carrick is not good enough. I said it all through last season I wasn't convinced with how we were playing. |

| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by patrickmuf(m): 12:10pm On Sep 15 |
Jamiuokolaa:Carrick's body language doesn't inspire confidence. With the way we have approached games since the beginning of the season, you'd expect Carrick to be on the touchline barking instructions at the players during games, and in subsequent games, you'd expect him to drop some players to the bench, but no, he sticks to the same players. There are no consequences for playing badly at our club; it's one of the reasons players can decide when they want to turn up or not. |
