Before your account can be wiped out I'm sure they must have be written you and calling you but you ignored them and we Nigerians always believe we are smart so oga you should know its a loan and they told you you will pay back so why didn't you pay back?

You took a loan and defaulted in payment because you considered it a settlement from FG. Now they enforced measures to retrieve their money, they are suddenly wicked. You are funny. It is in your best interest to repay that loan, otherwise they will keep wiping any cash related to the BVN you provided.

A cousin of mine also took the loan and after four years,Nirsal started deducting it from his bank accts, infact with evidence he showed me,Nirsal did well, a 500k loan,5k each from both his first bank acct and uba bank monthly. But got to a point they stopped the automatic deductions. Guess what ? He recently approached a bank for 100m loan, his good credit score with the bank merited him 100 to 500m ,the said bank approached credit bureau office for his records and was discovered was still owning 180k,long story short, the bank asked him to approach Nirsal to pay back the remaining 180k so they could write credit bureau on his behalf so they could clear his name so his 100m could scale tru.

The Mortgage loan I collected in 2015 through FG to purchase a 3 bedroom flat in one estate in Abuja , the interest rate is pegged at 6% through out the repayment period, inflation or no inflation....and you are saying government doesn't care. I don’t support not paying back but I’ve been there. You cannot out-hustle a broken system. I’ve taken loan for my business with all intention to pay back but the economy kept throwing punches left and right. Eventually the business folded and I sold equipment to pay off.

It’s easy to say cho cho cho until you have been in that situation. Even with your clear conscience and good mind you will look like an evil person that doesn’t want to pay.

Government institutions have access to recover their loans because they aren't a loan shark.
If you struggle with a business, it's not a new thing. It happens all the time, that does not mean you didn't benefit from that business at a point.
It's always a setback starting a business on a short term loan but if it a long term loan, you have all the time in the world to pay back.

This loan In question has been since 2020 and the year is 2026. That 5 years is enough to refund whatever you got as loan.

That's how it will continue and nothing will save you . Even after clearing off the loan , they will continue to debit any account that is linked to your BVN. That is what they did to me . They kept on debiting me , and in my mind, when the loan is fully cleared they will stop. But one morning, I saw another excess debit of almost 500k.

I had to rush to their office, wrote two letters and waited for a month plus before part of the excess was reversed. A percentage of it was taken as penalty for late payment

Bro you are not the only one... they first wiped my person account (gtb) ... then i have this nysc account that has always been 20k daily withdrawal since my nysc days. I save money i want to use to purchase maybe phone or small devices of like 200k. I keep such money inside it because i know i can't withdraw more than 20k daily. So if I need urgent 100k that was not innitially dedicated for the reason i'm saving the money. I would have to wait for 5 days or that expenses can find an alternative before the 5 days...

Do you know these people got a later from bank and extended the account to more than 20k withdrawal perday without my consent. Then wiped the entire money in that account. Now the last time i had 150k in the account , i could withdraw the 150k at once.

Sometimes I imagine how Nigerians comment on critical issues not always saying the truth. Why didn't y'all blame him for not paying back the loan since 2019 instead of using it as a propaganda against Nelfund. You guys are so good at shifting the narrative when the discourse is not in your favour. Loans are meant to be paid, it is not a grant.

someone came to her and said it was a grant and she should send her details, that she will pay him a percentage for working the money to come to her and when the 500k came he took 200k.

years later during her service, every payment nysc made, the money was taken, i told her to go to their office in abuja, loan of 500k that she got only 300 from it became 780k even though they already took some few coins time to time.

Folks dont ever give anyone your details to do anything grant for you, go to the website and read for yourself

I am having the same issue. Money (500,000)I lent to him for his business in 2021,till date he has been talking nonsense and the surprise of it all, is that he is going to contest for his state House of Assembly election next year . Most Nigerians detest paying back their loans. Wicked folks.

Hmmm, for 500k, they disbursed 473k. They deducted 27k as admin charges and not as interest. I think the same applies to your wife. I know of someone who got 500k and the guy hasn't been using his account now for transactions since last year

You are not the only one o. I work in a bank and I can tell you that 95% of all GSI recovery debits is for NIRSAL COVID 19 loan recovery. The devil never gives anything for free.
