Nigerian entertainer and host Bae U has announced a major guest on his popular interview show, Curiosity Made Me Ask former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Known for his sarcastic roasts, bold questions and hilarious interview style, Bae U revealed that Obasanjo will feature on the show today at 6 PM.

The announcement has already got Nigerians talking.

Curiosity Made Me Ask has previously featured notable personalities, including ADC presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore and Nollywood veteran Pete Edochie. With Obasanjo now joining the list, many fans are impressed by the calibre of guests Bae U continues to attract.

I personally won't term him a failed skit maker. Though I preferred his style of skit of being an idiot. when he started compared to the agbero style he adopted before he eventually ended up with this style of interviewing important personalities which has turned out well for him.

Skit maker or interviewer, it's all about the numbers of views. Kudos to him for being able to restrategise and turn the tide around.

Someone doesn’t have to hand you physical cash before you acknowledge that they have positively impacted your life.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with a father figure supporting a younger person and helping him grow. Bae U will always cherish that moment, even long after Obasanjo is gone. Not every meaningful contribution has to be financial; sometimes, your presence, encouragement, platform or endorsement can mean far more than money.

And let’s not forget that we once had a president who described Nigerian youths as lazy. Now you have a former president choosing to do the exact opposite -- showing up to support a young content creator, and giving him his time and attention, and some people are still complaining that he shouldn't be doing it because of his age.

Growing older shouldn't force someone into a permanent state of seriousness. Wisdom is not measured by how inaccessible you become.

Obasanjo is showing that being old does not mean you have to disconnect yourself from younger generation or from things you enjoy........ .. That white hair should represent experience, not a prohibition from having fun.

He was nothing near a failed skit maker. He was among the top guys in skit during his time there.

He repositioned and transitioned into somewhat a more lucrative area of entertainment.

Just like saying Arnold Schwarzenegger was a failure as a bodybuilder just because he moved into other things.

Arnold transitioned from a CHAMPION bodybuilder to a Hollywood box-office action star, and later became the Governor of California.

He's a content creator.

Not real!

He is actually real.

Even more real than some other interviewers.

He asks the hard questions with a joke.

That’s why most of his guests cut the interview short when the question begins to get more real.

The few guests who have been able to answer his questions and turn the game around are Joke Sylvia, KOK, Edochie and a few others. Other guests like Charly boi, Adun and co will either result to insults or threaten a walkout.

You have to be witty and intelligent to do well in the interview. OBJ will pass the test.
