Ministry To Jws. Part 1 - Blood Transfusion by Sand2022(op): 2:02pm On Oct 19, 2023
In their book, Enjoy Life Now and Forever, Jehovah's witnesses states that blood represents life, this is according to Lev 17:14. This is true. The book further states that according to Gen 9:4, God forbade the eating of blood. We should take note that the restriction is on eating blood.

In the NT, the same restriction continued, as the book says. Acts 15

28For the holy spirit and we ourselves have favored adding no further burden to you except these necessary things: 29 to keep abstaining from things sacrificed to idols, from blood, from what is strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you carefully keep yourselves from these things, you will prosper. Good health to you!”

The book now went further to expand on how this restriction affect blood transfusion. It says:

"What does it mean to abstain from blood? If a doctor told you to abstain from alcohol, you would not drink it. But would you eat foods that contained it or have alcohol injected into your veins? Obviously not. Likewise, God’s command to abstain from blood means that we should not drink blood or eat meat that has not been bled. Nor should we eat any food to which blood has been added.

What about the medical use of blood? Some procedures clearly violate God’s law. These include the transfusion of whole blood or any of its main components—red cells, white cells, platelets, and plasma."

Here I feel is the area we need to reason out well. The bible clearly forbade the eating of blood, so we shouldn't eat it in any way as Christians. On that area I agree with the Watchtower. However, blood transfusion can't be compared to injecting alcohol into your system. Secondly, blood transfusion isn't eating blood. Let me explain.

If you eat blood, the process it passes is not the same as when you transfuse it. The blood when transfused becomes part of your body organs. Blood transfusion is like an organ transplant, which the witnesses now leave to conscience. That's not the same as eating the blood which serves a nutritional purpose. Using blood as part of nutrition is what the bible prohibits. Instead of banning blood transfusion, it would be better to leave the issue to personal decision since this is an area that we dont have a direct scriptural command.

Second point: Acts 15:29 says we should abstain from blood. The witnesses view this to mean total abstinence. But, do we have to see it that way?

Notice other things that that scripture says we should abstain from...

to keep abstaining from things sacrificed to idols, from blood, from what is strangled, and from sexual immorality.

Take the issue of things sacrifices to idols as an instance. Does it mean total abstinence? 1cor 8:7,8 shows that one can eat what is sacrificed in an idol temple if it doesn't cause stumbling. So while the prohibition was on communal eating of things sacrifices to idols, it didn't mean that such meats can never even be eating even when it is sold in a market. The point I am making is this; do not over extend scriptural application beyond it's context, you could end up setting up rules God never intended. God forbade meat sacrifices to idols, but He didn't mean that on no occasion can you eat such meat.

In the same vein, the restriction is on eating blood, that's where the bible stopped, don't extend the restriction to blood organ transplant. God didn't have that in mind while given the law. It would be better to leave it to conscience matter.

There are other reasons why this view makes sense:

1. Taking blood when life is at stake isn't wrong:

1sam 14
33 So it was reported to Saul: “Look! The people are sinning against Jehovah by eating meat with the blood.” At this he said: “You have acted faithlessly. Roll a large stone to me immediately.”

It is clear that these soldiers ate blood. True it is still a sin, however, God didn't inflict the death penalty, why? The situation obviously is understandable, they were in dare need of food to save their lives because of Saul's restriction on food. If God was understanding and pardoned the people because the needed to stay alive, how much more someone who is in need of blood transfusion to save his life, I mean a transfusion we don't have a direct ban from the scriptures? Why would you have to loose your life for that? Is it sensible to loose a life just to keep a mere symbol of life? If a doctor told you to abstain from hard drugs, and as severe pain tried to kill you and that hard drugs is the only way you can save that life, would you think the doctor will restrict that drug from you? We all know that in some situations, a doctor can even recommend marijuana to a patient although it is banned.

Don't save the symbol of life, and then loose the life.

You are guiltless when death occurs in self defense: Exod 20;2-3

In this, we are still assuming that blood transfusion is scripturally prohibited, even though it is not. Some may say it is better to die and await resurrection than to break God's law. That is true in many cases, but since life is precious, God doesn't want you to loose it recklessly. We see this in the example of the soldiers. But we also see it in the book of Exod 20: 2-3a

"If a thief is found in the act of breaking in and he gets struck and dies, there is no bloodguilt for him. 3 But if it happens after sunrise, there is bloodguilt for him."

Now, God forbade murder, but what if someone comes to thief in your house at night, you don't know if he came to even kill someone, if you had to murder that criminal, God is saying you are free. Now this is murder, a serious sin in God's sight, but He makes exception here because he won't tolerate it when one just stays like a pole and have another kill him unnecessarily. Or this might even be one who dies as the house owner is trying to protect his property from the intruder. Whichever it is, what we know is that when one breaks in at night and gets kill there, the house owner can go free.

In other words, some murder was excused because probably, life is involved. Blood transfusion involves life which is very precious to God, do not think that God is happy for you to waste that life just to save a symbol. You're sinning by doing that. The person you're taking his blood will still be alive, so why bother?

Lastly, your leaders might still change this doctrine tomorrow after having incurred a blood guilt for many that have died for this doctrine. It is worthy of note that they had previously taught that taking vaccine and organ transplantation was a sin. Some died for this, but they later changed it. If you die for an unscriptural policy, you didn't die for God, you died for your leaders.

The bolded is pure facts! Anyone that dies just because a Bunch of Old Freemason Men came up with a rule that determines whether you live or die whereas we have never heard these same Men die because of this same rule, that person has died for absolutely nothing. In fact, Almighty God is going to judge Watchtower leaders very harshly for being responsible for the Murder and Human Sacrifice of thousands of JWs after misleading them by changing this doctrine numerous times. And get this, whenever there is a new Watchtower Leadership, new rules or doctrines are formed. That is where Flip flops of doctrines occur over and over again.

Watchtower leaders will never change this doctrine. Why? Because they are already swimming in the Blood of Thousands and thousands of JWs that have died due to it. They would rather stubbornly hold on to the doctrine. Do you know how many court cases that will erupt to finish them and make them Bankrupt because of this doctrine? JWs and EXJWs that have lost Family members due to this doctrine will sue them to oblivion. Do you know that it could attract the attention of The Authorities as they will call it Systemic Murder that will land them in prison? They would rather stick to it to the end. And that is where the Harsh Judgement of God will come upon them for practicing Broad daylight Human Sacrifice.
Re: Ministry To Jws. Part 1 - Blood Transfusion by Courz: 2:46pm On Oct 19, 2023
And to add to what is pointed out here by Sand2022, JWs are Preaching about abstaining from Blood, right? But they accept certain Blood fractions that still need to be gotten from the same Blood they are claiming to abstain from. So, the real question is, Are Jehovah's witnesses really abstaining from Blood when they still need blood to get these Fractions from? 2ndly, how do they hope to get the Blood? Do they donate to get this Blood? No, they don't. They look at people donating their blood as people committing a big sin But they are depending on this same people to get Blood. So, they are expecting Blood from people who donate to give Blood to others that take Blood but are still claiming to abstain from Blood. How does this make any sense? Full blown Hypocrisy that makes no sense. 🙁 They can as well just allow the Blood Transfusion since they are not really abstaining from Blood instead of all these complicated restrictions that are senseless. The average JW doesn't even know which is allowed and which is forbidden. So, what was the whole point of all these restrictions of what blood components are allowed or not? It is completely useless.

Do not take blood in simple terms simply means do not take Life because life is in the blood,as Genesis 9:4 points out.[/b]

Sand2022:
However, blood transfusion can't be compared to injecting alcohol into your system.

Secondly, blood transfusion isn't eating blood. Let me explain.

If you eat blood, the process it passes is not the same as when you transfuse it.
When you inject alcohol into your system & drive above the lawfully authorised speed limits.
Oga, are you guilty of drunkenness?
Will the law exonerate you from drunkenness?

You want to change the goal posts because you no like JWs belief.

King Saul & the Israelites atoned for their mistake, JEHOVAH mercy was manifest on them.

1 Samuel 14:33-35 & Numbers 15:30

"Bring near to me, each one of you, his bull and, each one, his sheep, and you must do the slaughtering in this place and the eating, and you must not sin against Jehovah by eating along with the blood.” (1 Samuel 14:33, 34) The guilty soldiers obeyed, and “Saul proceeded to build an altar to Jehovah.”—1 Samuel 14:35.

JEHOVAH'S Servants don't look for excuses to break God's law. Acts 15:28-30 is very dear to us.

The Law of Ceasar and medical professionals recognise our fundamental rights to choose the option of medical treatment we prefer.

Mumu Janosky aka SubPlot aka the Iberibe Master, I should be asking you the same question. Why did Watchtower forbid taking White Blood cells when they can be found in Breast milk? Why didn't they tell JW nursing mothers not to Breastfeed their babies since they will be taking White Blood cells that they have forbidden? Why is it that when we eat Chicken, we don't completely remove all the blood in the bones? Blood is still found in the bones and we cook it like that and eat. Have you abstained from blood that way? How about Cow Meat/beef? Meat still contains blood even after washing it. But we cook it like that and eat it? Have you abstained from blood that way? Can you see how foolish your doctrines sound? Your mumu Watchtower knows that it is not possible to completely abstain from Blood. That's why you still need Blood to get Fractions. That's the point I am making. You are not abstaining from Blood if you still need Blood. People take Blood because of what is in the Blood. If JWs really believe in this doctrine, they won't take Blood Transfusion secretly.

Mumu, next time use your brain before you quote me. And stop smoking that igbo.

So, why are JWs still dying like fowl even when you claim there are medical treatment options? Why was there a News story that made front page here in Nairaland about one of your JW sister that died because she refused Blood? Why are JWs in Developed countries where Medicine is advanced, still dying? JWs know that if they follow this doctrine, they will die. That's why they take Blood Transfusion secretly. The Governing Body advise followers against secular education to keep their followers in bondage of their 'religion'

The GB demands more from their devotees than God they claim to represent.

I stumbled on a book years back while studying eschatology. I got to a point that what they are talking about does accurately match history.

Then I discovered that some people within the fold are not fully following their dogmas. One of the loudest ones was a Raymond Franz who wrote his autobiography with emphasis on his service in JW.Org and as a member of the Governing Body.

This is the summary of his book. You can check it on Wikipedia.

within the Jehovah’s Witnesses' leadership structure; it advocates for a broader re-evaluation of how religious groups handle internal dissent and uphold individual spiritual integrity. His central premise is that an organization's true measure of spiritual health is found not in uniformity enforced through hierarchical control, but in the capacity to accommodate sincere, scripturally-grounded differences of viewpoint without resorting to punitive measures.

Franz claimed that many Jehovah's Witnesses who choose to leave because they cannot "honestly agree with all the organization's teachings or policies" are subsequently disfellowshipped, or formally expelled, and shunned as "apostates". He wrote that he hoped his book might prompt Witnesses to consider the conscientious stand of defectors with a more open mind. He hoped that a discussion of deliberations and decisions of the Governing Body during his term would illustrate fundamental problems and serious issues within the organization: "They demonstrate the extremes to which 'loyalty to an organization' can lead, how it is that basically kind, well-intentioned persons can be led to make decisions and take actions that are both unkind and unjust, even cruel."

The book provides an abject view of Watch Tower Society leadership and its requirements of members, gives Franz's perspective on failed expectations among the Witness community that Armageddon would take place in 1975 and his views on fundamental Witness teachings on the significance of 1914 and continued expectations of Armageddon. It also gives his account of the events surrounding his expulsion from the religion.[7

That is where you failed!

In the beginning Adam and Eve knew only one God before they were compelled to rebel against the one and only true God.
Later many people are calling on the name of that same God but deceitfully that is why God called Himself the God of Abraham so from that time God only recognizes anyone who associates with Abraham.

Does that make Abraham their God?

Later the same God transfered the same blessing to Isaac and to Jacob so whoever you are once you are against Isaac or Jacob know that you are against the only true God.

Does that makes Isaac and Jacob the God faithful people must worship?

Later God chose a nation which was formed by the twelve tribes of Jacob's sons so whoever you may be once you kick against the nation of Israel you have automatically made yourself an enemy of the true God.

Does that makes the nation of Israel the God of faithful people?

Later the nation splitted into two and God chose the southern two tribes called "Jews" so when you choose to stand against the Jews automatically you've made yourself an enemy of the one and only true God.

Does that makes the Jews God to faithful people?

Today God has chosen the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses that is why faithful people throughout the world assemble ourselves with them just as Jesus said that the wise people whose spiritual eyes are sharp like that of eagle will gather around the body of his anointed brothers who have deadened their bodies to the things of this world. Luke 17:37

That is why all other people are bitterly complaining about how their religious leaders keep on exploiting them for money and material things of the world but the Governing Body remains steadfast in dispensing spiritual food for the flock under their care. Matthew 24:45

So whatever you say makes no practical sense until you tell me why God has been fighting for certain people in the past when He is the Creator of all humans.

Today Jehovah is fighting for the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses that is why you can never ever present a replacement nor a better performing group than those following them!🙂

All these long talk is nothing but Trash. Just admit it that your Governing body has proven the point of this thread to be nothing but facts! When we argued with you on Blood Transfusion, you were clearly against it. You kept mentioning Alternatives to Blood being better than Blood Transfusion. Now, your Governing body have realized that if they don't change this doctrine, Governments of different countries will come for them, close down the Cult, seize all their properties and assets and freeze their accounts. Your Governing body are in trouble. They know they have more to lose if they continue. So, they came and finally accepted Blood Transfusion. None of you JWS are talking about Alternatives to Blood now. With the way you JWs behave when these changes come, you are further destroying your image. Look at how you JWS are the laughing stock all over the world. Your Governing body are very confused people. Now, there is no difference between you JWs and other Churches. More changes are coming. The One True Religion title for you JWs is gone.

How does it feel to keep seeing Apostates being right while your Confused Governing body being wrong over and over again? If some group of people have been preaching that path A is right to follow, people die in the process then they turn around and say path A is wrong but path B is the right way. Then they turn around again and said path B is wrong but path C is the right way, will a wise person depend on these group of people to show them directions? In real life, do wise people listen to such confused people?

Abraham is chosen for the line of the seednto run through him. This doesn't mean that someone cannot worship God apart from Abraham, nor do you need association with Abraham to be accepted. Quite the opposite, Abram went to Melchizedek to offer his tithe.

Later the same God transfered the same blessing to Isaac and to Jacob so whoever you are once you are against Isaac or Jacob know that you are against the only true God.

You're the one importing the idea of "God of" Mentality. I only said the organization is built around the Gov body not Christ. It means the Gov body decides what JWs believe even if their words are against Christ.

On the choice of Israelites, they were special people for the line of the seed. While God used Israel, AT THE SAME TIME, God was using Job and the community over there in Uz.

Later the nation splitted into two and God chose the southern two tribes called "Jews" so when you choose to stand against the Jews automatically you've made yourself an enemy of the one and only true God.

God has been helping other people as well, only that God main focus is the seed, and all scrioture points to Christ, so the narrative dwells more on the Israelites. See how God said it:

“and command the people, “You are about to pass through the territory of your brothers, the people of Esau, who live in Seir; and they will be afraid of you. So be very careful. Do not contend with them, for I will not give you any of their land, no, not so much as for the sole of the foot to tread on, because I have given Mount Seir to Esau as a possession.
And the Lord said to me, ‘Do not harass Moab or contend with them in battle, for I will not give you any of their land for a possession, because I have given Ar to the people of Lot for a possession.’
The Horites also lived in Seir formerly, but the people of Esau dispossessed them and destroyed them from before them and settled in their place, as Israel did to the land of their possession, which the Lord gave to them.) ”
Deuteronomy 2:4-5, 9, 12 ESV

As for JWs, they are not God's special people, no single miraculous evidence establishes that. The only scripture that fulfills among JWs is 2Tim 3

“having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. For among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions, always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth. ”
2 Timothy 3:5-7 ESV

That's the scripture they are fulfilling.

Ọmọ God called Himself the God of Abraham it simply means whoever stands against Abraham is CURSED! Genesis 12:3🥱

No! When God was using Israel Job has passed away the Israelites were in Egypt for 400 years it's within that time period that God talked to Satan about Job but when God called Israel His people whoever stands against Israelites will perish!

Stop deceiving yourself what God said is giving the Israelites the promised land and the land doesn't include those places you are mentioning!

Let me repeat since you're taking another route. I said:

Abraham is chosen for the line of the seednto run through him. This doesn't mean that someone cannot worship God apart from Abraham, nor do you need association with Abraham to be accepted. Quite the opposite, Abram went to Melchizedek to offer his tithe.

The discussion is not what happens if you're against Abraham. It is, can you worship God without association/link with abraham.

Oya present anything Christ says and the group PRACTICING it so that the Governing Body is against it!
The comment you're responding to was a clarification of my point. It's not meant for follow up question.

No! When God was using Israel Job has passed away the Israelites were in Egypt for 400 years it's within that time period that God talked to Satan about Job but when God called Israel His people whoever stands against Israelites will perish!
JWs view Job as contempory of Moses. He or his offsprings lived during the exodus of the jews.

Stop deceiving yourself what God said is giving the Israelites the promised land and the land doesn't include those places you are mentioning!

Mention any religion that is performing real miracles today!😂
The point is not whether those nations are part of Canaan, they're not. I am showing you that God helped other nations besides the Israelites, but the bible didn't dwell on those accounts because God focus was on the line of the seed.

and command the people, “You are about to pass through the territory of your brothers, the people of Esau, who live in Seir; and they will be afraid of you. So be very careful. As for church that performs miracles.

God isn't dealing with church name, he is dealing with individuals. For proof of miracle through prayer, see this peer reviewed study:
