The people at the helm today are hypocrites.

The same people who said Jonathan must go when fuel was N97 per litre are today telling you that Tinubu is “transforming the economy and implementing bold reforms while fuel is around N1,500 per litre, with the attendant high transportation costs, rising cost of living, and reduced purchasing power.

Apparently, what was unacceptable at N97 is now reform at N1,500.
y didn't Jonathan make it 22 naira we bought it under abacha?

You better no kpa i yourself for politicians matter. All those opposition talks during Jonathan era is just to win election oooooh. Even Jonathan and his family and the good people of Bayelsa have moved on.
Obi and Atiku proposed subsidy removal in 2022. Fast forward to 2026; they proposed to return subsidy. But the truth be told; if one of them miraculously win 2027 election; they ain't bringing any subsidy back.

Tell your government to fix all our refineries
Darekiki:
If not tribalism. Why didn't we go and challenge DANGOTE for that high petrol. Bcus he got dollar at cheapest rate from emefiele but failed to help Nigerians now.
Federal government can not force him to reduce price.
As the matter of fact most share holders in that oil are politicians using DANGOTE to invest and make money.
So the decision to reduce come with board conclusions
Re: Workers To Begin Strike Friday If FG Fails To Cut Petrol Price To ₦500 by olaadenigeria(m): 11:22pm On Sep 30
We need to be specifying the type of workers please. Then why wait till it get to 1400 naira. The price rosed from 150 naira and even pass through this your proposed 500 naira, you did not stop it until you cant catch it again. It better these poepl should not waste our time, but find how we reduce dependance on oil by having alternative and more government transport in our roads

Anyone who attempts to derail the development of this country should be treated as a boko haram

We cannot be wasting trillions on subsidies while our country looks like a dungeon.

I will not support those who wants to trade the greatness of this country with cheap rice and beans. I am not created just to eat food and buy cheap fuel. I want Nigeria to spend its resources on sustainable development projects.

However, I support the call for minimum wage review. As the president used to say: The more money you have, the more comfortable you become.
Like what so called development, coastal road.??

Because that is all the talk in Nigeria since 2023. Barely anything else that resembles development.

And if that is all you can deliver, then it is better the people eat cheap rice and beans rather than have it shared to Chagoury and co.

The main demand is perfectly valid, so it’s not out of place. But the “approve wage award” part is where the comedy begins. Do they even understand what a wage award means? Have they already forgotten how the last one came about? Did the Federal Government ever say it was indefinite?

Then someone is citing N97/litre of PMS because that was the price under Jonathan. Some people can be dense beyond acceptability. Why not N22/litre as it was during Abacha? Ask him what the minimum wage was then and instead of answering the simplest question imaginable, he’ll probably take you on a historical tour of Russia and America.
Oga, rest! Don't bother dignifying these people with your time and energy. They're obidients, they lost touch with 2026 reality already. So, pls allow them play their pranks.

Who is fooling who? We have been deceived by successive govt in Nigeria about fuel refinery not working Dangote get oil at international market price , whereas oil producing countries sell oil to country at a reduced rate. Those that keep us bondage God that deliver Israel from bondage will deliver us from them . They will fall like Pharaoh and the Persians, Babylonians Othomans

I don't hate my country. I hate all the present and past leaders of my dear country.

Who plunged this country in all these mess.

I believe you know that Nigeria real problems started deeply in 1983 . And things are getting worse by the day.

Fuel can never decrease to 500 naira. I know when fuel was sold in this country for less than 0.20 kobo per litre ....

Your lots will masturbate on the thread. Why Tinubu and his urchins protest that time, because by your logic there was a reason for it. I have never seen people like you, 90% of you lots are supporting APC because of stomach infrastructure and not because it is the right thing to do!

It is sheer hypocrisy, and it is nauseating to watch your ilks speak on social media.

This strike won't really carry weight, because by the time FG apply the "Divide & Rule" tactic...the rest would be history.

What happened to the past four years when prices yo-yo’d every market day? Unserious people. Elections are coming, everybody wants to cash out before Uncle Tinubu resumes his second tenure. I would do the same in such position.
