I can't really blame CR7 for his selfish and narcissistic behavior because it is this singlemindedness and tunnel-visioned drive and self-belief that took him from a Quaresma wannabe to an all-time great footballer and GOAT contender. He won't suddenly change what has worked for him at age 40.

At the start of this international break, Ronaldo had an interview where he said he's ready to play any role the coach gives him whether it's to start, come on from the bench or whichever.
