Age still very much on her side, a ball playing CB, but again her Speed & defending against Very Physical Strikers like the Chawinga Sisters, Banda, Lavunga and Co is something we still have to look into.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5-UTMK7424?si=Nx5Vn5U1lH24EL3F https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwRNInGD7C8?si=Nadf5m437rBf-V1u

That's why you write off all the new players as not " being the right players"and start posting your Wendie renard from Temu ? What about maclean ? Is she still the 2nd coming of oparanozie? Schemerkhiz: |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 9:02pm On Oct 02 |
isan:And who said all the new players? There are specific players we know very well that they ain’t at that level yet.. They’re just there for call up sacks. If the news am hearing about the next coaching set up is true then all this nonsense will definitely reduce. |

This U17 team will be fire and lightening!!!🔥🔥 ⚡️⚡️⚡️ No hypes here. There are ballers in this team. We all know the attacking names... Kemi, Queen Joseph, Oscar alongside Chidi Harmony and co. But one talent not to sleep on one bit is the tactically intelligent and solid Tosin Rafiu. She is a beautiful midfielder. I loved what I saw of her at the U20 WC. Her football intelligence is really good...in fact as good as any of the main stars on the team. She was, for me, the best african midfielder on display at the recent U20 WWC. Schemerkhiz: |

The key question is WHEN ![]() We've been hearing about Maureen for the past 5 years, yet nothing. She hasn't improved herself, even when she had the opportunity to play in the French Ligue 1, but strangely opted to turn it down. I feel like we've been promised a 7 course meal all these years, but all we have been served is soup! ![]() Schemerkhiz: |

Super Falcons get new Media Manager The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has appointed Brenda Shima as the new Media Manager of the Super Falcons, Shima’s appointment comes following the departure of Mary Akinsola from the media management position. The new Media Manager is expected to assume responsibility for the day-to-day media operations of the senior women’s national team, including coordination with journalists, production of official content and communication of team activities to supporters and the wider football community. Shima brings considerable experience in sports journalism and broadcasting to the role, with a career that has been particularly associated with coverage of women’s sports and women’s football. She began her sports media journey with Ray Power FM in Abuja before teaming up with Africa Independent Television (AIT), where she became part of the team behind Kakaki, one of the network’s prominent current affairs and breakfast programmes, under the DAAR Communications Network. Her years in broadcasting have seen her develop a strong reputation for reporting and presenting sports, with women’s football among the areas where she has built considerable experience and visibility. Shima’s background in telling the stories of female athletes and teams is expected to provide an important dimension to her new responsibility with the Super Falcons, one of Nigeria’s most prominent sporting brands. She recently joined the TVC family, where she has continued her career as a sports reporter and presenter, further strengthening her experience in television journalism and sports broadcasting. Her transition from frontline sports reporting and presentation into the national-team media management role represents another step in a career built around sports communication and storytelling. Shima assumes the role at an important point for the Super Falcons, with the team preparing for their 2028 Olympic Games qualifying campaign against Comoros. The Falcons are scheduled to play both legs of their second-round Olympic qualifying tie at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne-Remo, with the first leg set for October 9 and the return fixture on October 13.

Nesrine Bahlouli (Al-Nassr) and Célina Ould Hocine (Paris FC), both of whom have come through the French youth national teams, have been called up for the first time with Algeria. ✅ 🇩🇿 I also note the presence of Sarah Compaoré (OM) and Célia Aggoune (RC Lens) in Farid Benstiti's squad for the double-header against Central Africa in the qualifiers for the 2028 Olympics. 🔜 The moment they qualified for the World Cup I knew it, a lot of this players will pick Algeria 🇩🇿 real quick instead of waiting for France and co to call the up..

Ashleigh Plumptre didn’t feature and wasn’t included on the team sheet for their league game today. Hopefully, she’ll be available and fit to represent Nigeria 🇳🇬 in the upcoming game against Comoros 🇰🇲. 🙏💚 Club reports she sustained an ankle injury that requires some examination first..
