The final Judgment of YHWH of Israel against the people of Israel in the land that was given to them was prophesied in the Constitution and Law of the ancient nation of Israel. It was carried out by YHWH with the explicit promise that He would gather His people back to Himself eventually. That is the salvation promised only to the Israelites by the YHWH of Israel. 😒😒

It in no way compares to the prophecies of destruction sent out by the prophets of Israel who came afterwards in response to issues arising between Israel(Israel and Judah combined) and the surrounding nations/nations they encountered, as in the case of the Ninevites, Edomites, Aramites, Philistines, Phoenicians, Ammonites, Moabites, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, Romans, etc. one coule easily read of in the such books as Nahúm chapters 1-3, Amós chapters 1-9, Obadiah chapter 1, Joel chapters 1-3, etc. 😒😒

If anyone is following this thread sincerely and you're interested in knowing what Jesus meant in that verse here is it.

Jesus always talk in parables for instance he told his disciples to store their belongings in heaven {Matthew 6:19-21} are we taking this literally? Of course not as we can't take anything out of this world {1Timothy 6:7} so what is Jesus saying here?
There is a work/assignment God gave His loyal servants right from the very day John the baptist and Jesus of Nazareth, this work has to do with preaching and teaching about the government of God that's coming to solve all the problems of mankind. Matthew 3:2; 4:17; 10:7
From that very moment whatever a servant of God has be it our time, energy or other possessions should be channeled to supporting this goal. Matthew 6:33
That is exactly what Jesus and his disciples did.
The politicians that came to meet Jesus thought he will only ask him for financial assistance since Jesus and his disciples were like people needing money and according to God's laws such servants of God should be cared for with whatever we have which most people Jesus and his disciples visited did heartily! Luke 10:38-40
So the young politician expected Jesus to ask for such financial support but Jesus told him to get down from his high horse and become one of his disciples which means this man must threw away his political career and affluence then join Jesus' disciples in doing things people look down on as lowlife.
That is what the man finds really difficult to do.
Today the one and only religion practicing this is known today as JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES no matter your worth in this life you must join them in the preaching and teaching work from house to house which most time makes people to look down on us as worthless people.
I remembered a day my wife and i were preaching, my own outfit although of some worth but since i only put on the outfit one may not notice me but my wife's outfit though the same material looks stunning with her jewelries so we knocked on one man's door and when he opened his door he welcomed us as if he knew us before but immediately i introduce the message of God's Kingdom he said:

"Just imagine, they are Jehovah's Witnesses, i thought they are some useful people not knowing they are among those useless people"

So he drove us away from his door.
WHY?
Because we are doing what the seemingly lowlife and jobless followers of Christ did in the Bible!

That is exactly what made the man feel disappointed! Luke 18:23

No one hates me! You are the world, and I can bet money you do not hate me at all, so me saying you, the world hates me is a lie. As for the physical world itself, I am rather too insignificant for it to even be aware of my existence not to talk of going to the extent of hating me.

As for cross. I would claim my own cross is my own tribulations and joys. And I am so empowered to deal with my tribulations to the extent that if I were a religious God believing person I would be thanking the Gods. But since I'm not, I am delighted anyway.

God gave the The 10 Commandments simple, not parables. Any one teaching in parables is only allowing gullible people to be deceived. From that passage Jesus was testing the rich man to see if he was gullible enough to sell all he has an give to the poor, because Jesus first said to the man you know the commandments. And from your own account his disciples did not do such but left theirs for their family to look after while they followed Jesus.

The 10 Commandments
1. You shall have no other gods before Me.
2. You shall not make or worship idols.
3. You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God.
4. Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy.
5. Honour your father and your mother.
6. You shall not murder.
7. You shall not commit adultery.

The House of Israel is the same as the house of the then Jews and the Gentiles/Goyim(Israelites who no longer resided at the time in the land of Israel). The term Gentile/Goyim is a reference to people who belong to the same clan, in this case.

The passage above have the word Goyim referencing people from the same family line, in the above case, the family of Japhet. 😒😒

In the Gospels, the term nations/Gentiles/Goyim was clearly in reference to those who were of the world that Jesus Christ of Israel was sent, which is the family of Israel. 😒😒

Eventually, the Jews also became Gentiles/Goyim when not only was the power they had completely stripped from them in the land, but it was also given a name different from that which was given to it by YHWH, all in fulfillment of Deuteronomy 28 - 30. Now, of course, the Jews remain in denial of this fact despite only recently being able to require by the grace of the British and the UN, the land in question. However, under an entirely different constitutiion than the original nation was established, they remain Gentiles/goyim in a land that is foreign from that which once belonged to their fathers - ancient nation of Israel. 😒😒
