I don't think he was referring to the new players, i think he was basically saying the board should have added more players in other areas. It is obvious we don't have a striker, L and R back is very weak and needed filling. Martinez said thing that showed Carrick is a terrible coach, but fans as usual will only focus on the attack on the board. Be like we no even get right and left winger too, cos Mbeumo and Amad have been terrible on the right while Cunha will rather rom than stay on the left and Trashford is Trashford..

The club is spineless. They conceded to too many of their demands and that has emboldened them. The kid’s father is disillusioned. That’s why he’s asking for ridiculous things and the club doesn’t have someone who can deal with him.

The father has a plan mapped out in his head for the boy and Manchester United is not part of it. I am often critical of the club but in this case I don’t think there is anything the club could have done to keep him outside winning back to back EPLs and a UCL title.

The father does not think we are presently big, successful, or glamorous enough. All the reasons they gave for wanting to leave are just excuses. Like you alluded to, if he joins Madrid he might not smell the 1st team for 2 years. The father can only try those nonsense demands with us.
