Please, I need urgent help with uploading documents for a Canada visit visa. I had previously been approved for a Canadian visitor visa, which I used to travel to Canada and return in due time. However, I recently reapplied for another visa, and it was refused because the officer was unable to read some of my documents due to excessive compression used to meet the 4MB file size limit. I want to reapply now. Under which section should I upload a letter of explanation regarding the previous refusal, and where should I upload my new SOP (Statement of Purpose)? Please advise. |

brazenchef:Go and repost your question in the right section. Sample is given in the attached. Placing a round peg in a rectangular space will give you wrong result.

Chigbo55:You do not need to upload the previous refusal letter. You only need to confirm that you have had a previous refusal. However, in your current Proof of Funds letter, you need to explain the source of the funds and provide all the supporting documents to back up your explanation. You also need to demonstrate that the money is genuinely available to you whenever you need it for your studies. One of the best ways to demonstrate the availability of the funds is to pay your acceptance fee from the same account you are using as your POF. You can then explain in your letter that the funds in the account came from your business and that you have access to the money, as demonstrated by the fact that you used part of it to pay your acceptance fee. Based on what you have said about your previous refusal, I think IRCC may be satisfied with the amount you have as POF. The issue may be that you did not adequately explain the source of the funds and their availability to you. I hope you understand that insufficient proof of the source of funds and insufficient proof of the availability of funds are two different things. IRCC may not understand where your POF came from, and they may also doubt whether the money is genuinely available to you when you need it. These are two separate concerns that you need to address in your application. Some people will say put your POF in a GIC Account but that's not guaranteed if you show the right documentation of ownership of account in your Nigerians bank POF you will be good Before you submitted try to answer this questions for IRCC How did you get the money you are using as POF? When you received your admission, did you pay your acceptance fee from the same account you are using as your POF? |

ATTAHDYE:If he intends to come back to Nigeria immediately after graduation, an MBA maybe altough it is too common. If his intent after graduation is a PGWP and then possible PR, he should focus on the IRCC list of priority occupation. |

Hi everyone, please I need your advice. I received a five-year ban from applying for a Canadian visa, which is due to expire in February next year. When do you think I can start preparing and reapply? Would you recommend getting an immigration lawyer to assist with my application, considering my previous refusal and ban? If so, could you please recommend a reputable and experienced Canadian immigration lawyer who handles cases like mine? I would really appreciate your advice and recommendations. Thank you! |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Mavor: 10:15pm On Oct 18 |
DemmyDD:Use ClaudeAI or ChatGPT. Know how to prompt intelligently and give it your entire history. You don't need an agent. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by ATTAHDYE(m): 6:16am On Oct 19 |
You will need a Canadian Immigration Consultant. DIY, ChatGPT and AI will not be enough for this one. DemmyDD: |

Lump sum from a third party (non relative) is a red flag. What does the "non-relative stand to gain from gifting you such an amount. You might need to find a more believe able story to proof your source of fund backed with verifiable documents. Abbby1212: |

DemmyDD:what was the reason for your 5 years ban ? and have you gotten the GCMS Note from that Ban application to have a full picture of what you are looking at? |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by DemmyDD: 4:10pm On Oct 19 |
amnotapervert:. The banned is as a result of financial misappropriation. My agent used a fake statement. Pls how can I apply for my GCMS note. Pls share the link if u have. Thank you so much. I appreciate |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by amnotapervert(m): 4:25pm On Oct 19 |
DemmyDD:Man, I’m so sorry about that. First, you need to request your GCMS notes to understand the complete story behind your application. Once you receive them, go through them carefully to identify any other false information the Facebook agent may have submitted to IRCC without your knowledge Moving forward, once you have all the information at hand, you should contact a licensed Canadian immigration consultant RCIC or a Canadian immigration lawyer.( They are not cheap in anyway) The reason I’m recommending professional help is that you’re dealing with a 5 year ban related to financial misrepresentation. This is a serious matter, and I wouldn’t advise trying to navigate it entirely on your own. Yes, you can use ChatGPT to ask questions, understand your GCMS notes, and get feedback. However, given the circumstances surrounding your previous ban, you need a qualified professional to assess your case and advise you on the best way forward... Look at it this way its like a husband that is going back to his wife after impregnating the house help you can not go own your own you need to carry family members ( elders) to guide you through the forgiveness process... When you apply again, IRCC may carefully scrutinize your previous immigration history, including the circumstances that led to the ban. It might seem harsh, but that is the reality of your situation. My advice is simple: get your GCMS notes first. Understand exactly what happened before taking any further steps. https://gcms-notes.ca/ |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by amnotapervert(m): 4:34pm On Oct 19 |
Please, I beg you, stop using agents who promise to help you secure a visa with fake proof of funds. do not even use agent at all You can do it all by yourself. If you do not qualify for a visa yet, do not use fake documents from an agent or a bank manager or any Bulk Deposit. It is simply not worth it. It is better to apply yourself, get a refusal if necessary, improve your application, and keep trying when your circumstances change than to risk a five-year ban for misrepresentation. PLEASE, I TAKE GOD BEG YOU! 🙏 Coming back from a five-year ban is not cheap, easy, or straightforward. You may need a licensed immigration consultant RCIC or an immigration lawyer to help you navigate the process, and even then, there is no guarantee of success. The road back is much longer than you think and not worth it Do not let desperation for a visa today destroy your immigration opportunities tomorrow. If you are not qualified yet, take your time, put your documents in order, and apply when you are ready. A visa refusal is painful, but the consequences of submitting fake documents can be far worse |

| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Predator188: 6:49pm On Oct 19 |
DemmyDD:Why will you need immigration consultants just for previous ban if application is submitted after ban period has elapsed.. You should have information submitted your previous application, employment and education history.. Declare your previous refusal and reasons, that you are truthful with the information submitted in current application .. Immigration officer will thoroughly scrutinize all the documents submitted in the next application including any other information involved.. |
