I know a little of the process of Engagement, Introduction, and Ceremonail Traditions of Nigerian Marriages.

One thing that came up in a conversation with a friend recently was the subject of Bride Price.

We pondered how things would work out if an American Woman's family requested a Bride Price for her hand in marriage.

What do you guys think?

If it were requested of we nigerians/africans that are already acustomed to such then it would be mildly amusing coming from americans but no biggie...
if its an american to another american then im sure he would view her as a scammer and find the next hot mama to wed!
