A female friend once passed through the same thing. She had so much facial hair.
She used a native mixture to tackle it.
Today she no longer has any such growth.

selflessmaya: laser hair removal can get rid of that but you need 6-8 sessions to completely kill the hair in all its growth phases.. and it's very expensive like -2000 per session. and i dont even think there's a place to get it done in naija... and no cream or drug can stop hair growth in a specific place dont let ppl chop your money.. hair grows from follicle with is deep in the skin where no cream can reach. and drugs that attack hair follicles will attack every hair follicle in your whole body.. your pubic area, armpit, legs, arms, head, lashes and brows etc and also your facial hair and losing all your hair isnt worth it.
long story short, only thing that can rid it permanently is laser which kills the targeted follicles and it's so expensive i'm thinking you cant afford it... my advice to you is to wax it.. it's not permanent but when you wax you pull all the hair from the follicle so it takes 6wks to regrow. wax every 6wks and you'll be good. it hurts but looking good hurts. it's your best bet, if you shave or use hair removing cream, it'll become prickly the next day cos you just took off the hair on the surface and left the ones underneath which kinda sucks. good luck hun wink...
This is partially incorrect. There are several places where laser can be done in Lagos. We have LostinLagos spa in VI, one spa like that in Ikeja GRA (I forget the name), and one in Dolphin, Ikoyi. Each session costs betwee 27-42,000 naira, depending on the area that's needs work.

As for the waxing bit, depending on the nature of your hair, the hair grows back between two and 5wks. The good news is the more you wax, the longer it takes to regrow because of the trauma to the hair follicles. I am a hairy person so when I wax, the hair grows back within two weeks angry sad.

Since the op says the hair isn't much, I recommend waxing as a hair removal treatment.

The way certain things trend on NL makes me wanna grin From 'price of garri' to 'end-time-things' now 'pictures or it didn't happen'. . . so far this is most tolerable

anyway constant use of hair removal cream at a particular location will deplete the number of hair follicles in that region overtime. A permanent solution will be surgical, I'd recommend laser trearment
The bolded is very incorrect. Continous usage of hair remover in a location will make the hair strands grow fuller and thicker. I speak from experience.

Ugly duckling: You can try waxing. Though its temporary, its easy and fast, and it takes long for the hair to grow back.
Three weeks isn't long enough....

Veets veets veets. use VEETS, itz cheap and in 5mins of application and rinsing off with water, all the hairs will just fall of and your face would b damn smooth like a baby's own. Trust me
Re: How Can A Woman Get Rid Of Facial Hair? by deols(f): 1:58pm On Dec 30, 2013
Shedysworld: Veet is a very good hair removal gel, a friend have used this and it works. It's also possible through surgery! Though expensive! But I believe nairaland famous chief yuzedo can afford it.

Hair removal creams like veet are not to be used on sensitive areas like the face.

To be sure, read its leaflet before use

Some nairalanders in here just like displaying their juvenile attitude, pls if you don't have anything reasonable to contribute to this post pls just keep quiet. Now @ op i guess there is no natural cure to such unless you want to do a plastic surgery which i will advice you not to do,God made you to be that way and you should accept it,i believe God that made you this way is not a fool.

Forget all that nonsense they are saying. I am speaking from practical experience. In fact, because I use hair remover waxing is always a torture for me because the hair is always difficult to remove. My waxist waxes some off and then tweezes the ones that simply refuse to go off because of its hardness. The both of us (I and my waxist) are usually physically and emotionally drained after each tortuous session. cry
