I don't know, my brother.... and that's why u may need to be there to ask those questions from the prominent nigerian leaders thatwould be present at the event. I know last year, some ministers were there and some people also asked these same questions during the parade. For me, i just dance, eat and get freebies from vendors.

Maybe he does not believe there is nothing to celebrate about. That is actually my opinion... u know when u are abroad u see Nigeria as a beloved country. In reality, we struggle so hard to run away from it...every politician and famous guys have their families outside here and they preach patriotism they don't believe in

U told the oyibo to stop governing u and literally drove them back and shortly after started begging for visas (non-stop now) to go and live with them...pay millions to have citizenship by birth.

The same thing Zimbabweans are doing... drove away the whites people (seized lands they can't farm on) to SA and jumping out of moving trains when being repatriated from SA.

Black men can't govern themselves...only SA is enjoying now. We wld have delayed our independence.
