Joana has been a good friend and Colleague of mine since 2009. We have never been involved in any romantic stuff together before. Our entertainment biz take us round a lot and any time she comes to work at my base she wud want to stay in my flat Instead of wasting money in the hotel. My gf recently saw a female bag in the visitor's room belonging to joana and confronted me. I explained every thing abt joana to her bt she insisted that I ask her to carry the bag and neva to come to my house again to spend even a night. She came around again last weekend for a job that will last up to 2 weeks. My problem is, I don't knw how to explain this to joana who has been a very good friend all these years. Should ma gf get the hint that she is around again, it will surely create serious conflicts bw us which I don't want to face...what do I do in this unwanted situation

Trust me it'll be hard for U to tell her and since ur gf has gotten the hint that she (Joana) is around, just set up a match between them (I mean they should meet each other) in ur house. Am sure if Joana knows and sees ur gf, maturity should tell her what to do without u altering any word of explanation.

I don't want to offend joana bc she did something I never imagined she cud do for me some years bak. I feel accommodating her any time she comes is my own little way of paying her bak. My gurl is a jealous specie that's my problem

Do nothing, leave Joanna in ya crib and wait for ya gf to land.....
Re: Is It Wrong To Harbour A Female Colleague In Ur Flat by vizkiz: 3:32pm On Sep 29, 2014
why didn't you tell her about joana in the first place

The problem is not about you bringing a girl over...the problem is she isn't believing you dude undecided

If you had introduced. Your gf to her(joana) in the first place, she might still feel "a little" comfortable about joana staying for a while. But she getting to discover about it herself and you coming up with a "fake story" of her being you "working friend" wouldn't make her believe you "1%"

The point is this, I hav told ma gurl abt joana long before nw bt she has never met her in person bc she doesn't stay in the same city wit me. I have been sincere to her abt the whole tin bt she wud not seem to believe it.

You are your own problem , your girlfriend had to find out about Joanna before you explained to her , anybody would naturally come to the conclusion that even if you guys aren't dating then you probably have an eye for her and anything can happen at anytime. Why isn't your girlfriend aware that Joanna comes around from time to time , why aren't they friends , what is wrong if she stays over at your girlfriend's place at times instead of yours ? You are the one bringing insecurities into your relationship

Yeah! I get ur point... Most girls(if not all) are jealous, I think if ur girl can understand I really don't see any big deal there, since u've known Joana for years and ur relationship with her has not in any way jeopardize ur feelings or ur relationship with ur girl. Make her understand if she can but if she can't, make Joana understand except u wanna see ur babe leave bcoz of Joana (perfect excuse).

U left Ur Gf out at some point, that's why the issue turned this way.
Call Ur Gf and have a heart to heart discussion, explain issues to her. Make her understand that this trend has been on for sometime plus the fact that U feel indebted to Joana cos of what she did for you sometime ago.
With this Ur Gf should have a change of mind.. If not, na to let Joan know things won't work out as before this time around..

And U, make sure U're not doing anything funny with Joan else the thunder wey go fire U still they do press up...

just imagine the kweshion...'is it wrong?" angry

would you allow your gf to harbor a male friend in her hostel under the guise that he's her 'good friend'?

have you forgotten the saying.. 'flee from all form of temptation'

it normal for a woman to get jealous, weather your gf has met joanna before or not.

why does she have to crash in your place all the time? undecided

dude, there's something you're not telling us angry

Its a pity that most persons have the wrong mindset and its killing us. before you get/got married, you've had friends and will still have friends. As long as av told my girl/guy everytyn, some tins shldnt be an issue, tho most people dont know dia boundaries. I see notin wrong in the ops accomodating her cos u might find urself in joana's shoes smday and it will be unfair to be denied as long as u av d right motive. I suggest dat you make joana speak with ur gf on phone tym to tym while shez around simple. ur gf is jst insecure

I get ur point clearly babe. Am a very Open person and my gurl Knows it. The joana in question did somtin exponential to me that helped me to the point where I am today. I wud not want to strain my relationship wit ma gf bt joana is someone I made a promise to myself to help in any way I can. She is just a very nice lady
