LOl.

I'm a learner in this thing o. So some people registered with Doctores Para Ti, got their visas with Doctores Para Ti letter and switched to MIHS before the cost review.

Chai! I need to become "streetwise".

Between, why are people not flying Delta na? Na so so United? Promo dey? E ja mi si grin

Congrats to @Egariyi on the birth of your son...he's blessed forever and may the testimonies continue to pour in.
Hi @fabulousmom, please I would like to ask you how you went about getting utensils and stuff like that during your stay at El paso. Trust your lil ones are doing great as well.
Many thanks @oawele for the heads up and tips. I also think Emirates is a much better service but like you, i also wanted a direct flight. It is well.
@Malihamlago, pls when are you due to be in El Paso cos Ill be there hopefully by October 12, God willing.
Thanks.

Lol. but the price will just sky rocket once they know its twins. all the hospitals I checked have good prices for one baby. but for two the price ranges from $8500 to $10000. only Dr fagbohun is a little less than 8000 when i did calculations.

meanwhile, all these adopted el paso mamas re making me laugh so hard. stay with mihs na
I would have loved to use doctores pa rati too. if not for their decision that I must do C.S by force. sad and me i no wan do.
@kykes I sent you personal mail.

@phema.... Lol at the general hospital style grin

Doctor Fagbohun is actually a good doctor and very understanding. My sister went through him, even though before she left Nigeria, the bill wasnt up to 8000 dollars but after delivery she was given a bill of about 14,000 dollors. He had to intervene and she was asked to pay about 9000dollars at the end of the day. He is a good man.

Does anyone know any hospital in Indianiapolis with reasonable fee. Don't know how much MIHS cost now and El-Paso seem to be too crowded..

@Oawele,
I'm doing very well, thank you.

@Damsell,
Well, what I did was to buy my kitchen utensils from walmart. Walmart has a refund policy when you return an item that is still in proper shape between 60-90 days after purchase (I can't remember the exact limit). I returned the utensils that were still in good shape and got a refund without any questions. You have to be able to present your receipt of purchase to get a refund though.

Congrats and thank God for the favour. May the name of God be glorified. Please i want to seek the entire house opinion on this little issue. I got my US Visa a month before i discovered i was pregnant. Though i planned going for a vacation which was later postponed because of work issues before i discovered the pregnancy. I will be due soon and i have decided to have my babies in the US but i dont know what to do, should i send a mail to the US embassy informing them of my intention because during the interview i was asked if i was pregnant and i said NO. Am just alittle confused can someone tell me what they did or what should be done.

Thanks all.

Dear all,
Please how do i go about sending a mail to the US Embassy informing them of my intention to birth in the US. I didn't lie during my interview because i wasn't pregnant as at the time of interview. What information am i to provide in the mail and the email address to send it to. Also does anyone know how much it would cost to birth in Indianapolis. Also the MIHS package is it only in Phoneix? Would appreciate response.

Thanks

thanks for the info @fabulousmom, much appreciated.
congrats on your visa approval@myst, yes it was @phema who took the whole 'burden of proof' thingy to a whole new level when she was going for her visa interview, good to know it proved helpful to you as well.
for those asking about change of plans notification for already procured visas, that issue has been treated severally and im sure if you do take your time to look through the thread, you'd find the email addy to send to, a sample of the email some members sent and the response they got from the embassy.

Hello fabulousmom, thank you for all your input, it truely helped in making my decision (doctoresparati). If you dont mind me asking, I'd like to ask you, how far is Walmart/groceries from the accomodations (Intown and Ramada)?

@Nightnigeria1,

Thank you too. Walmart is situated opposite Intown Suites- across the road. There is also a shopping mall called Yarborough mall close in proximity to Intown Suites. These places are about 3-5 mins drive away from intown suites by car. I don't know anything about Ramada suites. As at when I was there, Ramada was not yet a household name.

Hi demi200 i guess u talkin abt delaware in philly. If tats d place then i made enquiry abt 2mnths back n d bill i got was about 12k cos dey just did a review then. Another hosp close to delaware county memorial hospital is Pennsylvania hospital which i also got a breakdown of 17k for viginal delivery(dollars not naira... Lol). I can send u the breakdown if u want it. I op this answers ur question. Many hospitals dere dont have maternity packages n that makes deir bill very high.

Hello All,

I need your help with some info, I am due in two weeks and will be giving birth in Texas (Frisco, near Dallas) I want to find out what the process is for getting the BC, passport and Nigerian visa and what the length of time is to get it.
We would like to expedite the process and my husband also wont mind flying to another state if need be to get the passport done faster. Apart from the BC, Passport and Nigerian Visa, is there any other thing I would need for the baby?

Please and please, I would appreciate your feedback.

THANK YOU!!!!!!

I was about going to post the same question !!!

I would appreciate answering the above questions as we can not afford staying 3 weeks after giving birth just to wait for the birth Certificate (as the case in Virginia) !!!

I don't mind going to any state if I know I can get the Birth Certificate the soonest possible.

Please help !!

Good morning all

Please I need a sample of the mail sent to the embassy for change of plans. I have searched for it but all I could see was just peoples comment about it. I didn't see the mail. I did not lie about my pregnancy during my interview, I had my visa several months before I got pregnant.
