Yes, there is. At SHOPRITE in Alausa, ask anyone that you are going to ELEPHANT house. The passport office is not far from there. It's directly opposite the LBIC (Lagos Building Investment Corporation) office. The Ikeja passport office was commissioned last year October.

Before the introduction of this 64 pages passport,the processing fee for the regular 32 pages passport has always been #20000k plus,i myself did mine in benin with 20k,i had to pay anoda 1k for guarantor,u see d huge gap.Dis new should be nothing less than 40k,corruption has always been the bane of our development.

You are very correct sir. The official price if you are doing it yourself (which could take you up to 1 year though) is 20k. But the other price (we we price, if you want it within 2 days) will be running to 40k now. God bless Nigeria. I wonder why we should be paying so much money for 64 pages of booklet?

I was at ikeja office yesterday....I guess the officers and agent are working cos the lowest amount u can apply for re - issue is 25k... I even spoke to an officer he was teling me its 28...but I hve no choice dan to stick wit the agent...but somehow I feel cheated...its almost the same process as when u want to apply for a new passport.....nothing is cheap for naija...everybody wan make money...GVT say 20k alagbara For him office say na 25k upward abeg who go win?...naija for life

You might need to visit any of our passport office to make a complain about this. Usually, when your passport is been processed, you will be asked to confirm the information's on your data page before it is finally submitted for production. I guess you never really take note of the information's before giving your approval.

Try the passport office in Ikeja, I think they do it there too.

Just did my passport for 27500' with abeg some did 30k and still the 34 pages they said 64 pages is for regular travelers and you will need to order it from abuja cost 50k,

32 pages. The 64 pages is for frequent travellers and you must show evidance. That One is done iin abuja.

I think there are 2 ways to do it. It's either the passport office will stamped an OBSERVATION on one of the pages of your passport to whom it's concern, telling them that there's a change on your DOB or other mistakes on your passport or, you might need to do re-issue all together. For the observation, I've had that once on my passport concerning my DOB too.

Yes you need to be re-issued another passport once the old one expires. It doesn't matter if you've travelled b4 or not. Once it expires, you will be re-issued another one. I hope I helped.

Why are you guys paying so much for a passport which is not respected in the world? They should give it free of charge since it cost a fortune to apply to go 98% of this planet, if the prophets grant you a visa, that is. It's really a shame, Africa's Giant treated so disrespectfully.
