Education courses are now professional courses so people no longer look down on them anymore besides its now a 5yrs course

Who said all educational courses are Underated? i beg 2 differ.In Nigeria of nowadays graduate of any educational field are well paid. Perhaps, million of Nigeria graduate option in 4 teachn after several yrs of securing a Job.

as 4 me i am an exceptional Educationist nd i am proud 2 be 1..Faculty of education, Education nd Yoruba 2 be precised. Without d lecturers, professors and teachers der wont be nothn lyk doctors, lawyer nd engineers.. we build d nation, proudly an educationist.

After going 2rue sleepless night impacting knowledge on people dey turn out 2 be ungrateful.. May God strengthen nd increase d knowledge of all students in faculty of Education(amin)."Educationist reward z indeed in HEAVEN".

it is Public Adminstration mostly in nigerian universities.

adextetoo: Starting with most AGRICULTURAL RELATED courses imagine some one spending 5yrs in my uni (FUTA) to study:
Building Technology (modern bricklayers)
Agric Economics and Extension (what da Bleep does dat mean?)
Agric Extension and Communication (are you trying to understand the official language of animals and plants?, cut me some slack.
Transport Management (what is d job of dos nurtw thug bosses?)
And above all PHILOSOPHY even a 5yr old kid will do dat
Library Management (arrangining of books which you will never read) omo course plenty oooo

I guessed u forgot APH(animal pursue hunter )...most departments in SAAT... talk of ecotourism and wildlife management.....fwt (firewood technology )...lolzz, although they all have their usefulness but we underrate them a lot...

Agricultural Engineering

You end up doing almost all the courses undertaken by Mechanical,Civil and Environmental Management Technology,yet nobody takes you seriously. Everyone thinks you are just a farmer and then get startled when u actually prove ur worth as an engineer

I read some people including Education as an underrated course. I completely disagree with this. Education is a professional course recognised anywhere in the world. They are the nation's future builders.

Realtol: Which school is that? I studied English/Education @OAU and stayed with many law, science students and not for once did I look myself as inferior to them or envy them throughout my stay in the university. In fact, most times when we talked then on any topic, they always gave me due respect because I didn't see myself as inferior to anyone but a colleague. Look, people cannot make you inferior without your consent; so if they looked at you as inferior it's because you allowed them to. Any courses studied in university doesn't guarantee one's future but what you make of the course can.

Its nt like i look down on my course as an inferior course... What i mean is d look/reaction on their faces speaks out loud of what they think about edu courses. Sometimes even in argument, most tend to bring out d case of hw they feel about edu courses being studied in skul which is normal about students to argue over one course or d other. Bt, d oppression there is if one gives them d chance to win you over which i did nt cos what i make of
my course really matters to me. I really do agree wit u on that. Anyway, im studying social studies edu @ AAUA, Ondo state.

What about Office Technology and Management OTM?

In unilag it is Human kinetics and health education.. Aka jumpology... Dats my course and its a very nice course.. Very lucrative
