A friend just got a job in a school at Ikotun and the pay is 23k. She tried getting me to apply but I just wasn't interested.

A few days after he got a placement with an infant publishing outfit, to be paid 40k per month plus weekly transport allowance and a little package. It's a marketing job.

Which would you advise him to go for?

Kaduna Govt pays me 34k on Lev 8 ohh. And mine is even better than non teachers. They claim that's "Teachers' Enhanced Salary". SMH.

My younger brother teaches in Abuja. His salary is around 70k! Peanut for such a city.

B4 i got admission 3 years ago i used to teach @ a particular school in my area with my O'level certificate (i was taking JSS CLASSES),my 1st pay waz 8k but after 3 months and d proprietress saw my huge dedication and brilliance,she increased it to 13k nd Na d increased salary no make me write jamb dat year coz i was tempted to work 4 atleast 1 more year....Tho' teachers' salaries are always sumhow low bt hey! Teaching is damn fun.

Teaching is fun and less task, you can do other jobs and get side pay, I knw a friend who earns more than N60k aside from his salary from home lessons alone.

Lagos state government is currently recruiting for educational officers and other positions (it is a massive recruitment). Check online and apply fast because it is closing soon.

i bn apply job for 1 skul as part tym for jtown.. I hear say part time na 6k and full tym 8k.. Wetin make me bone d place be say upon say d salary small, i go teach 2 subjects i.e chemistry and biology for i think all d arms..i.e ss1to 3... But government owned skulss pays better.. And some big private skuls..
