This is MONEY LAUNDERING committed by agents of the Nigerian State, wittingly or unwittingly, on behalf of the Nigerian Government. It's a shame that it takes a country like SA to drill down the message that money laundering is both unethical and criminal. It is within SA's right to seize the money and never return it to the Nigerian government. Spend this money on the Nigerian education sector and this generation and those to come would never be the same again. What an absolute shame. I am angry and disgusted!

Don't be a mugu oga

This one na ba matter of mugu oga. In as much as I have many issues with GEJ and his style of government, this latest attempt at blackmail - rather cheap, is you ask me - does not cut it.

Lets consider the facts:

A supposedly Nigerian company paid NGN1.02b to Cereberus for a particular deal. It may well have been arms. It could be assumed the NGN1.02b initial payment was done through the proper channels as no red flag was raised at that time.

Cereberus's licence expired before the deal could be completed and the company which had applied, unsuccessfully, for a renewal had no choice than to refund the money to the Nigerian company. It was then the SA authorities came in and seized the money.

If anything, its the actions of the SA government that look suspicious.

Sorry, but I must say, u sound very foolish! I mean, because some persons may have been misbehaving, u now feel it can make u become a black-american or a russian. Listen, u missed it. Cry, if u like or rather sit up and desire to be the best u want d country to b seen as. Go out there and ask the present VC of a Uni in US. A Nigerian, u'll hear his testimonies and why not...few of such people still stay in this country doing their best to help paint this country the way it should be and not crying and sounding lost as you.

On a second reasoning, some persons should learn to read the wording in a statement and not just the caption. When you do this, you'll be a good critic and not just a follow-yann fellow. So, I implore you guys to read the news again and get the gist.

A Proud Naija and not a Political Naija
FOOL! that is who you are. A genuine Nigerian with love of this country at heart would be worried about the present state of things. The least we can do to show our disatisfaction is to constructively criticise a bad government. Keep mute if you have nothing positive to contribute.

I am more concern about our ability to contain a coup

A military without enough weapons is vulnerable to internationally sponsored coup

Democracy needs a strong loyal military to survive

If a coup takes place today, if our troops do not have enough weapons, we won't be able to stop our democracy from being short lived
