This one na ba matter of mugu oga. In as much as I have many issues with GEJ and his style of government, this latest attempt at blackmail - rather cheap, is you ask me - does not cut it.

Lets consider the facts:

A supposedly Nigerian company paid NGN1.02b to Cereberus for a particular deal. It may well have been arms. It could be assumed the NGN1.02b initial payment was done through the proper channels as no red flag was raised at that time.

Cereberus's licence expired before the deal could be completed and the company which had applied, unsuccessfully, for a renewal had no choice than to refund the money to the Nigerian company. It was then the SA authorities came in and seized the money.

If anything, its the actions of the SA government that look suspicious.
The facts? Lol. Nobody has the facts, all we're seeing now are the lies they've deliberately leaked to the media to cover up the money laundering. Why would a national government hire a pastors jet to pay $15million to buy arms? Why bribe the National assembly to shut down any enquiries into this 419 deal, not even a closed door enquiry since it has to do with defence? Again bros i say, don't be a mugu!

In other not to act stupid it is advisable that you verify and understand the real situation of things before you comment. Cerberus Risk Solutions, is an arms broker in Cape Town, registered as a broker with the National Conventional Arms Control Committee, but unknown to Nigeria the registration expired in May this year. it was during the process of transferring the $5.7m (R64m) back to Nigeria that the NPA’s Asset Forfeiture Unit of SA government seize the money. ................From a very reliable source

Its a shame that Jacob Zuma led government is at us again. Even at that, I believe that this form of transactions have been going on between both countries even before GEJ administration.
The question is why now? And 1 of the many answers is simply that Nigeria's economy have taken over South African economy in d world center stage. Therefore they are working out seriously to rubbish us.

Our authorities should sit up. Who can guarantee that South African coys here don't do shit?
So which pastors have helped nigeria pay for weapons before?

Money laundering in SA?
Idiotts.
Even a compound fool knows there are far better ways to launder money.
Btw, $5M is relatively too 'small' to launder by any federal politician.

TheIndustrialist:
South African authorities have seized
another US$5.7 million arms money
from Nigeria, just three weeks after the
$9.3 million cash transported by two
Nigerians and an Israeli for arms
purchase, South Africa-based City
Express reported Monday.
.
As with the first deal, South Africa’s
Asset Forfeiture Unit of the National
Prosecuting Authority seized the $5.7
million (about N952 million) for
allegedly being the proceeds of illegal
transactions, the paper said.
The news came more than two weeks
after two Nigerians and an Israeli
national were arrested in South Africa
after they attempted to smuggle US$9.3
million apparently meant for buying
arms for the Nigerian intelligence
service.
.
The men landed at Lanseria
International Airport, Johannesburg, on
September 5 in a private jet from Abuja
with the money stashed in three
suitcases.
At the time, the South Africa Revenue
Service, SARS, said customs officers
became suspicious when the
passengers’ luggage were unloaded and
put through the scanners.
.
The National Prosecuting Authority,
NPA, in South Africa said there was an
invoice for helicopters and armaments
intended to be used in Nigeria.
Two black plastic suitcases, filled with
90 blocks each containing US$100,000
in notes, with combination locks, were
seized, as well as two pieces of hand
luggage also containing US currency,
according to City Press.
The Israeli national, Eyal Mesika, had
the combination to open the locks.
Under South African laws, a person
entering or leaving the country is
expected to carry cash not exceeding
US$2,300, or the equivalent in foreign
currency notes.
.

The South African newspaper, City
Press, said documents in its possession
show that the first consignment was
personally signed off by the National
Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, who
issued the end-user certificate for the
transaction.
An entire “shopping list” was supplied
with the certificate, which included
everything from helicopters to
unmanned aircraft, rockets and
ammunition, it said.
The latest transaction, according to the
paper, was between Cerberus Risk
Solutions, an arms broker in Cape
Town, and Societe D’Equipments
Internationaux, said to be a Nigerian
company based in Abuja.
The paper said the deal fell apart after
Cerberus which had earlier received
from Nigeria R60 million (N1.02 billion)
in its account at Standard Bank, tried to
repay the money as it it could not
resolve its registration formalities with
the South African authorities.
“Cerberus was previously registered as
a broker with the National Conventional
Arms Control Committee (NCACC), but
the registration expired in May this
year,” City Press said.
“The marketing and contracting permits
also expired at the same time. The
company has since applied for re-
registration, but the application lay in
the NCACC’s mailbox for more than two
months.

“Sources told Rapport that Cerberus
apparently tried to pay the money back
to the Nigerian company, after which
the bank became suspicious,” the paper
reported.
The paper added that while the NPA’s
Asset Forfeiture Unit subsequently
obtained a court order in the South
Gauteng High Court to seize the money,
the NPA spokesperson Nathi Mncube,
said there were no indications the two
transactions were related.
“However, both are now the subject of a
criminal investigation and all possible
information and connections are being
investigated,” Mr. Mncube was quoted
as saying.

Oooo yes it is a divine providence that no war in nigeria come what may ,creation has its own way of playing on the wickedness of man in order to frustrate his evil plots ,. We should be carefull because when the nucleus of an atom is broken the electrons in their steady orbital state cannot hold . Nigeria is the nucleus race and same principle is applicable .

Those trying all their inhumanly best to turn nigeria into aa war zone should sheath their swords or else nature will take its due course on them its not a cause on them but a serious warning perharps they are not aware that divinity karmic reation is inevitable

Look at huge amount of money that supposed to be used for the betterment of lives here .

all efforts will be jeopardised no matter what, even if the tools guns and bullets are procured MAHARAJJI wILL still turn them all to bread and gnuts quote ,me

Whether the plane is Oritsejafor's is not the issue. That is left for our domestic debate. The deal itself should be our concern because it could affect our relationship with South Africa, and could to our being sanctioned by the international community that is responsible for the sale of arms.
