as far as successful seasons are concerned, chelsea were a failure last season. they had good seasons in 11/12 & 12/13 when mata was the best player in chelsea.

Van Persie has the worst record for us this season. This is shocking all the more considering he hardly gets involved. In 2012/13 he was second worst to Buttner.

Januzaj has been very poor in this area since last season. Falcao has not also done well considering the few minutes played.

i said ashley young(if fit) is as productive, if not better than di maria. that claim is still very valid. i don't want to start digging young's résumé again.

unfortunately for young, he is unfit again this season to re-produce the form that made SAF pay the top dollar for him in 2012. as far as productivity is concerned, only few wingers can match ashley young in europe. his performance in 2007 got jose mourinho sacked.

i dunno why van persie is being brought up in a debate that involved silva & hazard but i can defend the dutchman.

van persie is a centre forward. he's constantly marked by 2 centre-halves & he operates in high pressure zones on the pitch. there's hardly any striker with a good turnover stats....

hazard isn't a striker. he's further away from the opponent's box than a centre forward, why then is he losing the ball twice as much as silva who play the same role for city? it then means the more hazard dribbles, the more likely he loses the ball.

your fraudulent stats is only showing attempted dribbles - it didn't say how many of those dribbles were successful in the end. the turnover simply shows eden hazard is a liability & this is why silva has outpassed him in the last 2 seasons.
