the wealth of a nation is not measured solely by GDP or the height of the gele of its women or their ability to throw obscene parties, buy expensive lace or even the number of private jets the wealth of a nation is measured by the living standard of its people. life expectancy, access to functional education, health, electricity, jobs,personal security, good roads, etc etc. A country is considered rich or poor based on how it is rated on these indices. There is something called the United Nations Human Development Index, go and take a look at that. It will give you a clue as to how your country is rated in the realm of wealth. why do you think Norway is rated the wealthiest country in the world? is it that norway has the largest economy or GDP in the world? NO! It is simply because Norway has one of the best welfare systems in the world. employment is almost 100%, life expectancy is one of the highest in the world. I have been to Norway several times and one thing I truly cherish about norwegians is their humility. you'll never hear a norwegian boast about the country being the richest country in the world or any such crap.

Actually, Infrastructure matters .A lot.By far. I
have heard a lot about how MTN and Airtel
charge Nigerian customers excessively but
deliver the kind of Services that Kenya was
getting in.... 2001. One of the reason. MTN and
Airtel have to maintain their base stations using
Emergency generators .Something they do not
do in Kenya unless the base station is in the
middle of a National Park.
If Investors were looking for only Population,
every international investor would be based in
Nigeria. But No. The Africa Headquarters for
virtually every International investor is either in

disease in Nigeria poses a real threat to the
global polio eradication effort.
Giving further statistics, he stated that of the 49
cases reported in the country currently, “two-
thirds are from four particular sanctuaries — the
northern states of Borno, Kano, Sokoto and
Zamfara.”
He, however, commended the concerted efforts
of Rotarians worldwide at eradicating the
disease as well as committing their expertise
and resources to improving the welfare of
