knowledge4:Catholics don't worship Mother Mary, we only honour her, just as we honour our mother's at home and as you pentecostal's honour your pastors, even some of you worship your pastors as god, I don't know why you guys keep saying Catholics are worshipping Mother Mary, Please we are not worshipping her but honouring her. Please take note of this. |

miketayo:Another woman would have been chosen. Jesus would still have come! The woman's lineage could be from anywhere, but the husband MUST be from the House of David. God forces no one to any assignment. He always gives us options to either say yes, or no. But because God is God, and unchangeable as He is, and will always be, whatever He sets out to do must ALWAYS be accomplished. Any of His creations can, and will be used in furtherance of His work. If man refuses to present himself for service, (even stones will cry out............) |

Having read the teachings of the greatest Christian leaders of the early church on this topic, I don't care about the falsehood being peddled by this poster. Since the Wise Men who gathered at Carthage and made the New Testament in 397 AD were also known to venerate Mary and always sought Her intercession, those who accept their decree on NT must also accept the Marian intercession or else it will amount to hypocrisy |

There is just too much dirt associated with the Catholic church. A church that embraces same sex marriage, why on earth should u want to continue in their doctrine. The church that has so much of satanic stories attached to it should be totally ignored. Darkness has nothing to do with light they are entirely separate. And until we christians come together as one in union our churches will not grow. Ever wondered why the muslims are growing so vast? They have a certain oneness that christians lack and if we don't open our hearts to the truth and follow Christ as a perfect example, not our Pastors or Bishops but Christ the muslims will constantly be a thorn in our flesh. Go directly to Christ, He tore the veil already leaving a clear path |

geniusbami:And to think many good people still worship in that Church worries me a lot. The first picture shows Pope John Paul II, bowing and kneeling before a statue of Mary. Isn't kneeling and bowing an act of worship? The second is an image of the Catholic Monstrance and the third is an early picture of sun worship in Egypt. Look at the image of the sun in both pictures. If this is not paganism, I wonder what it is. |

an old woman told Jesus "blessed is the woman who gave birth to you".Jesus replied "blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.He knew that his mother was JUST one of those people who heard the word and obeyed it. |

alliednetw:Stop your lies! New Testament was never made like a textbook in 397 AD. All the books in the Testament had been written in the First Century AD and not some 4th Century collections. Those who collected the books can worship Mary all they want, it doesn't dispute the fact that the entire Bible is in contrast to that. |

sheunfemix:please. who told u that Catholics accept same sex marriage? and what are dirty things associated to the Church? If any denomination is to blame for disunity in Christianity, it's the Protestant Churches that decided to break away from the catholic Church. Catholic has always been there since inception of Christianity. |

God bless you OP. As for those idolatrous generation (Catholics), they can keep on worshipping Ashtoreth whom the Bible called, "Queen of Heaven"- Jeremiah 7:18, 44:15-23. Let them Christianize this goddess as Mary to deceive the unlearned. How can Mary who's dead and waiting in the grave for the resurrection intercede for the living? Are the dead conscious of anything? (ECC. 9:5, PSALM 6:5, PSALM 115:17). How can Mary be in heaven when Jesus says, "No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven?"- JOHN 3:13. Apostle Peter confirms it also in ACTS 2:34, "For David did not ascend into the heavens...". So, how can anyone say Mary is in heaven interceding for the living? This belief crashes like an earthquake in the light of the scriptures! The fact is that, all those supposed apparitions of Mary are actually satanic, yes! 2 Corinthians 11:14 attest to it, "And no wonder! For satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light". Blind guides leading the blind!!! |

tranxo:My brethren it is clearly written in the bible that the womb that bore Jesus never bore any other person it was shut... Eze.44:2. As u all know mother Mary is the rightful lineage of David..Joseph also is David's lineage but he has no procreation of Jesus birth.biologically he has nothing to do with his birth. Also, the use of image as veneration in the church was brought in as a means of converting pagan to christian by using their tools as a means of worshiping Jehovah the most high,The I am that I am...plz candidly read the law book of the Catholic church which is the "Canon law" have u all ask urselves that celebration of birthday are all pegan practice but the church choose to use it to mark the birth of Christ Jesus. Many practises of the pegans the church used them to worship and to glorify the Almighty,All knowing,The king of kings and the Lord of Lords, the creator of Heaven and Earth. |

sheunfemix:Please help us and do a bit of study. What church do you think has been at the western governments' throats trying to get them not to redefine marriage to include same sex unions? It is because it is one catholic church that it can do that. While the initial reformers might have had good intentions all they ended up doing was causing confusion in Christianity. The evidence is there for you today.- 1 catholic church, thousands of protestant denomination with no unity. |

OLAADEGBU:LET ME EDUCATE U Matthew 13:55 “Is not this the carpenter’s son? Is not his mother called Mary? And his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?” In the original Greek the words used are adelphoi (“brethren”) and adelphe(“sisters”). The words adelphoi and adelphe can refer to actual siblings. However, the Bible also uses these words to describe people who are not brothers, but cousins or relatives or step brothers or close neighbors. The Bible says Abraham was Lots Brother. But in actual fact he was his Uncle::: see Genesis 11:31; 14:12).Please follow this carefully James and Joses are two of the names given as “brothers” of Jesus. It can be shown, by the following points, that these were children of another woman and not siblings of Jesus. . There were three women at the foot of the Cross: 1) the Blessed Virgin Mary (the mother of Jesus); 2) Mary the wife of Cleophas (who is said to be the Blessed Virgin Mary’s sister); and 3) Mary Magdalene. John 19:25 “Now there stood by the cross of Jesus [1] his mother, and [2] his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and [3] Mary Magdalene.” Mary, the wife of Cleophas, is also described as “the other Mary” in Matthew 28:1. The Bible tells us that James and Joses are the children of this Mary: Matthew 27:56 “Among which was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedees children.” Thus, James and Joses (who are called the “brothers” of Jesus) are not His siblings, but at least His cousins. However, they are probably not even first cousins. This is because Mary of Cleophas (the mother of James and Joses), who is said to be the “sister” of Jesus’ mother (John 19:25), is also named Mary. It’s extremely unlikely that two siblings in a Hebrew family would be given the same name. Most likely they were not sisters, but members of the same clan who were called “sisters” in the same way that James, Joses, Simon and Judas were called “brothers” of Jesus. All of this shows that none of the statements in the Bible about the brothers and sisters of Jesus disproves, in any way, the perpetual virginity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Now we must look at the proof that Mary had no other children and that she was perpetually a virgin. Ezechiel 44:2 “And the Lord said to me: This gate shall be shut, it shall not be opened, and no man shall pass through it: because the Lord the God of Israel hath entered in by it, and it shall be shut.” While dying on the Cross, Jesus entrusts His mother to the care of St. John the Apostle. John 19:26-27 “When Jesus therefore had seen his mother and the disciple standing whom he loved, he saith to his mother: Woman, behold thy son. After that, he saith to the disciple: Behold thy mother. And from that hour, the disciple [John] took her to his own.” It’s also quite significant that when Jesus was found in the temple at 12 years old, there is no indication whatsoever that Mary and Joseph hadother children (Luke 2:41-51). The indication is that He is an only child. He is also referred to as “the son of Mary” (Mark 6:3), not as a son of Mary. Never once is Mary said to have had other children. Please my Brother i am a free thinker, but convince me with facts and not half truths. |

enigmaotr:You live in denial! Yes,All the books were written in 1st century. Were these books part of the Bible in the 1st century? When Mark wrote his gospel account, did he include it in the Bible? How? How and when did Paul's epistles become the Bible? The books of NT were individual writings which were not in the scripture until the Church Fathers agreed to canonize a NT. Facts exist on who, where, when & how this was done. That you are ignorant of this does not change anything. It only makes you a Liar. |

Splinz:This could only have been written by a retarded mind! If heaven is where God is,would the Queen of that Heaven be Ashtoreth? Would a demon be in God's court? Clearly like most protestants/penticostals,you have not read about the queen crowned with 12 Stars(cf Rev 12)who gave birth to the Child who saved the world. Kindly read Rev 12 and revert to me Pentecostal/Protestant hypocrisal teaching claim that Mary and others are in the grave but when Idahosa died, they asserted that 'Idahosa has gone to be with the Lord' 'Anayo Iloputaife has transited to glory' etc. Let me ask oo.. Does the soul stay in the grave even for one second or is it the carcass that's usually buried? How does a sane mind quote an OT(pre Jesus' ressurection )text to prove that all christians(post Jesus' resurrection)are still in grave? Does the scripture not say that Jesus liberated such grave-held persons at His death? Did Jesus not tell the 'good thief' on the cross '..this day you willl be with me in paradise' Is grave paradise or Jesus didn't fulfill this promise or only the 'good thief' is in paradise since 2000yrs? My dear, your points are empty and shallow. Your bible quotes are irrelevant and out of context. Your conclusions are baseless, unfounded and not supported by any authority (biblical or theologial) All marian apparitions certified by the CC are proven beyond every reasonable doubt. Unlike those who rush to celebrate unproven miracles, the CC is known to be painstaking and intrusive in its investigations. It also has the greatest colllection of human arsenals to unravel any truth of faith(theologians, bible scholars, exorcists etc) |

tranxo:"By their fruits, you shall know tnem" Martin Luther and Calvin were peers and soulmates when they started protestantism. After a few years, they disagreed on doctrine, protested against each other and Calvin moved and started his own church. Later, many Calvinists & Lutherans protested against heir leaders, made own bible interpretations and founded own churches. Today, there are tens of thousands of protestant churches teaching different at times contradicting doctrines |

enigmaotr:Oga keep your ignorance to yourself. If we agree that kneeling and bowing amount to worship, then all those who kneel or bow before their elders,pastors,parents,kings,father-in-laws,judges etc are also involved in worship. Do you accept this? How does the look alike of the Monstrance and your picture of early sun worship make yhem similar? Are both of same substance? Is their any similarity in the theology behind both? The monstrance can be made in any shape not neccesarily the one in your pix, do other shapes and designs also make it look like egyptian early sun worship? It is painful when slow minds attempt to ridicule with shallow points, what geniuses like Augustine of Hippo,Thomas Aquinas Francis of Assisi already confirmed and affirmed to be true, correct with the deepest of scholarship |

dikenna: Ichiato: chalbert: dozai:Question: "Did Jesus have brothers and sisters (siblings)?" Answer: Jesus’ brothers are mentioned in several Bible verses. Matthew 12:46, Luke 8:19, and Mark 3:31 say that Jesus’ mother and brothers came to see Him. The Bible tells us that Jesus had four brothers: James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas (Matthew 13:55). The Bible also tells us that Jesus had sisters, but they are not named or numbered (Matthew 13:56). In John 7:1-10, His brothers go on to the festival while Jesus stays behind. In Acts 1:14, His brothers and mother are described as praying with the disciples. Galatians 1:19 mentions that James was Jesus’ brother. The most natural conclusion of these passages is to interpret that Jesus had actual blood half-siblings. Some Roman Catholics claim that these “brothers” were actually Jesus’ cousins. However, in each instance, the specific Greek word for “brother” is used. While the word can refer to other relatives, its normal and literal meaning is a physical brother. There was a Greek word for “cousin,” and it was not used. Further, if they were Jesus’ cousins, why would they so often be described as being with Mary, Jesus’ mother? There is nothing in the context of His mother and brothers coming to see Him that even hints that they were anyone other than His literal, blood-related, half-brothers. A second Roman Catholic argument is that Jesus’ brothers and sisters were the children of Joseph from a previous marriage. An entire theory of Joseph's being significantly older than Mary, having been previously married, having multiple children, and then being widowed before marrying Mary is invented without any biblical basis. The problem with this is that the Bible does not even hint that Joseph was married or had children before he married Mary. If Joseph had at least six children before he married Mary, why are they not mentioned in Joseph and Mary’s trip to Bethlehem (Luke 2:4-7) or their trip to Egypt (Matthew 2:13-15) or their trip back to Nazareth (Matthew 2:20-23)? There is no biblical reason to believe that these siblings are anything other than the actual children of Joseph and Mary. Those who oppose the idea that Jesus had half-brothers and half-sisters do so, not from a reading of Scripture, but from a preconceived concept of the perpetual virginity of Mary, which is itself clearly unbiblical: “But he (Joseph) had no union with her (Mary) until she gave birth to a son. And he gave Him the name Jesus” (Matthew 1:25). Jesus had half-siblings, half-brothers and half-sisters, who were the children of Joseph and Mary. That is the clear and unambiguous teaching of God’s Word. Read more: http://www.gotquestions.org/Jesus-siblings.html#ixzz3G6UeR5M8 |

Weah96:Let me give you the benefit of the doubt and furnish you with this information and hope that you can digest it. "And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS" (Luke 1:31) The commentary below is for your perusal. See how God planted the Holy One in the womb of Mary. Note that her egg was not fertilised in the fallopian tube. It was a special creation in her womb just as God miraculously created the body of Adam and Eve. Luke 1:31 |
