first of all, the so-called nigerian investement is overrated. secondly, since our economy is "doomed" as one ediot said, why are nigerians not pulling out their investments from Ghana? you know what? if I were the president of Ghana, I would have closed down all nigerian businesses and deported them asap! let's see whether the Ghanaian economy will "collapse" as some fooools have been saying. most of these modafakas don't even know the road to Ghana yet talk rubbish.

the Ghanaian economy is for Ghanaians. after all, no foreigner was forced to invest in Ghana. they did so because they saw the Ghanaian economy thriving.
l0l even mahama wldnt try that... Coz Ghana wont last A month after that..

This Ghana vs Nigeria e-battles are getting very embarrassing. 2 failed nations thumping their chests about who is less of a failure (Nigeria is comfortably the bigger failure). Many of you need to grow up and get a life.

[s][/s]oh my God! what a load of trash!

so the salaries paid to footballers have now become the yardstick for measuring how poor or rich a country is? you are a certified MUMU. so the fact that the NFA has "mandated" r\teams to pay players $1000 means they are going to pay them $1000? you need to get your head examined asap? Ghana is a poor country because Ghana is not paying footballers $1000? well, Ghana may be "poor" but its people don't eat from the dustbin, Ghana may be poor but we 70% of our people have access to electricity grin Ghana may "poor" but we dont have boko haram grin Ghana may be poor but we can sleep at night with both eyes closed at night, something considered a luxury in your zoo country grin Ghana may be a poor country but life expectancy is not 52 years and 90% of the people are not surviving on less than $2 a day grin so which country is poor then? grin grin

by the way, Glo does NOT sponsor the football league in Ghana, ediot
Dude. I normally wouldn't respond to your likes honestly, but seriously you are not making things easy for your citizens, hence my response.
First of, this thread ain't about Nigeria, so please stay on the topic.
Next, try not to say what you're posting in public if you're in ghana, 'cos your guys are currently looking for those charlies making more enemies for ghana, to deal ruthlessly with them.
Let's be matured here and see how best we can profer workable solutions.

Nigerian Traders want immunity in prosecution of
illegal foreign retailers

Nigerian Traders in Ghana are calling for
exemption in government’s plan to prosecute
foreigners illegally engaged in retail business
which is a preserve for Ghanaians.
The Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr. Ekwow
Spio-Garbrah has hinted of a clamp-down on
such foreigners operating in the retail markets
from next month.
This was after an assurance by the Chief
Justice, Georgina Wood to set up special courts
for the prosecution
.
But the All Nigerian Community in Ghana, a body
that represents Nigerian traders, is impressing
upon government, the need for a dialogue first to
find a lasting solution to the issue.
Its President, Moses Owharo tells Joy Business,
this is important in deepening the trade and
investment ties between the two ECOWAS
countries.
"We are not saying the government of Ghana
should not have its own laws. But again you
want to follow the ECOWAS protocol. If you look
back to history, Nigeria and Ghana have come a
long way. It's time we begin to see ourselves as
brothers and sisters so that there is an
integration. I think that we can harmonise certain
policies that will favour both countries", Mr.
Owharo said.
Meanwhile, the Ghana Union of Traders
Association has hailed the development as a
giant step in the right direction.
The President, George Ofori tells Joy Business it
could not have come at any better time.
"Those who are preparing to come in will now be
very cautious about their coming and those who
are already in will also be cautious about the
way they operate."
Mr. Ofori added a task force will be going out to
get the names of foreigners to the Trade
Ministry and other appropriate quarters for
prosecution to start.

But that's the point. It's that thing they signed that is biting them in the ass. Just like u don't care, I don't give a rats ass about what u think or what Ghanaians think. Be Adviced many Nigerians don't give a damn too about what u ghanaians thin too. Now since that's cleared between us all, I just want to add. Ghana with a population less than that of Lagos can't manage it's economy. Lagos GDP is 10 x that of Ghana. Am sure u have woken up by now. Then tell me who need's who? Just come begging Nigeria so Nigerian can bail u guys out again just like we have always been doing. Who knows maybe this time we make Ghana an annexe of Nigeria like Alaska is to the US. It won't be such a bad idea, u ghanaians should be feeling so big when hunger is looming over ya heads.

but we Nigerians should face our own problems.we have serious issues abeg.
the last I checked, oil prices are in free fall.
I see terrible days ahead for Nigeria, since our govt has absolutely no backup plan in place.
with good policies,Ghana can recover quite easily.corruption is not as big a problem there as it is,here.

Nigeria is currently in a very terrible vicious cycle.
making a saint president of Nigeria will not solve our problem.
bad leadership, corruption, tribalism and ethnicity now have great grand children in our country. in other words our issues here compared to Ghana's, is like comparing a very basic calculator to a scientific one.
