That makes violence likely, especially if the poll is close. In 2011, more than 800 were killed and 65,000 displaced in three days of violence after Jonathan beat Buhari in the poll. from the last sentence, are they insinuating buhari knows about the insurgency? 4 Likes |

Who ever put this insult and damning classification on the front page is not a true friend of jonaTAN. Gosh this is an insult, a disgrace and an affront on the occupier of the seat of power in Nigeria. JonaTAN has really brought the presidency to ridicule and public disdain even by a foreign media. This is just pure sarcasm tainted with a sweet title to hide the intent. And to imagine some illeducated SaTAN goons are celebrating this damning editorial and rejoicing over this clear cut insult to their otueke master. Gosh Truly "if you wanna hide something from a black man, put it in a book". That clearly qualify and explain the situation of every JonaTAN supporter rejoicing over this insult. 14 Likes |

Raiders: True words. Ethnicity and Religion have been fuelled, promoted and funded elite Nigerians who capitalised on these factors for their personal and selfish aims. The more divided we are along these lines, the more it strengthens them to loot and abuse our right. The real issues will never be discussed or resolved. The earlier we kick out politicians who fail to deliver the better for our democracy. Jonathan does not deserve to be our leader come next. He has failed us in all ramification. But who is capable of leading us to the promise land? 4 Likes 1 Share |

SenseiX: This is a satirical article, they have insulted your president and all Nigerians more than some unreasonable people realise. I have said it that Nigerians would have a lot of explanation to do to the whole world if Jonathan is re elected. A knowledgeable person once said during Obj's third term attempt that if you had a live monkey in Aso Rock as President dispensing patronage such a monkey may even do 10 terms if he wanted.Such is the quality of the political class in Nigeria that a Monkey can control them through the use of money and patronage. 3 Likes |

I don't ordinary Nigerians were the target of this article. Infact this article is an indictment on the useless opposition we have. For the mentally sophisticated, this crux of this article is that GEJ will win because the opposition is not producing credible alternatives. Look at what the opposition want Nigerians to vote for,; highly divisive ex-military mad-men or very corrupt political "has-beens". 7 Likes |

Reuters ko, Rizzla ni. With Jonathans woeful performance, would he even have been allowed to contest for a second term if he were to have come from the country Reuters is domiciled ? Teacher don't teach me nonsense. I've never believed in conspiracy theories but this Reuters analysis which doesn't mean well for millions of Nigerians is getting me worried about "their" long term intentions for us. |

chamboy: Most people who grew up (around 10 years old) during Abacha regime are forgiven for thinking this core less, simpleton is a good President. They dont know better and have not seen better. They can only compare GEJ with Obj and Yar adua. Even though GEJ is not as good as any of those two but at least they can relate to him on a personal level and they think he has brought governance closer in terms of personal style. My own take on all this: GEJ is the kind of person you dont trust your destiny and the future of your children with. The man does not know what he is doing in govt 8 Likes 1 Share |
