@Tiana85, they are involved in drilling fluids but not mud logging. Chemists have various functions and are necessary, though it can be boring doing the same thing over for 2 weeks.

I have an interview for the post of a FIELD ENGINEER in BAKER HUGHES in the next few weeks.

I therefore call for help and assistance from Field Engineers and anyone with knowledge (no matter how little) on MWD field Engineering, Directional drilling or/and any particular areas i can focus on that will give me an edge, to help with advices,material and sources(links) to stuffs i can read.

Not yet but heard they have started contacting people, although I know mails will fly next week...

As regards yours, was it teleconference?, as in did you go to their office to do it?

twas for wireline engineering... Questions were different from those asked for Graduate Field engineering (I know cos i have peeps who did GFE too).
