If the article is true to General word.. I think he (Gen. Buhari) was trying too hard to show softer side and how merciful he shown to Babangida even faced with deadth wish.. While to some Nigerian, its shear betrayal, one of the best Nigerian army government cut short, that would have put this nation on the right part...In term of disciplinary, sense of doing right thing and being proud of Nigeria. who knows what Nigerian would have achieve should that government last longer? The action desciplinary man in that Government is General Idiaghon, to some he was dictator government, other felt Nigeria need it at that particular time as things was really bad and getting out of hands looting of treasury, corruption, indiscipline of public services., decline of our foreign reverse, Issue of IMF loans ..within six months of coming to power, some of these problems were duly reverse and Nigeria start believing and more discipline, getting to work on time, avoid taking bribes and professional at their jobs..Government very accountable showing us every months how our foreign debts been reduce and rising of our foreign reserve...even present democracy government don't do accountability to the publics, all we hear is missing billions and scandal upon scandal, indiscipline and corruption is order of the day. However, its shameful that General Buhari robbed Nigerian of that good government and coined cowardice action with Babangida (while iron man Idiaghon outside country) to overthrow good government that bent to improve Nigeria. However, for that simple reason in my own opinion Gen Buhari is not fit to rule Nigeria.. My brother, it is good to know the crux of a matter before commenting. The crux of the matter here is not about Buhari not having integrity, it is about his lack of courage to act like a man when the situation demanded. How can Buhari know that IBB was planning a coup against him and he sat there doing nothing? Is that what a man should do? In fact not just an ordinary man, Buhari a military man and COMMANDER -IN-CHIEF for that matter.
