Its still very early in Nigeria, its 02:24am, so I'm going back to sleep. I will definately ask some questions when I wake.
Ok, I think I have one already. Britain still has a political sit or something close to it in Australia, why.?

Ps; you would have to quote me so that I would see ur reply without having to search for this thread again.

I'll try to answer everything as best I can.

What do you all think about Australia?

ok here you go, why is it that the Australian Aboriginals are not included in any major political seat of government infact most people around the world don't know that blacks are the natives of Australia.

I know Australia is half way if not at the other end of the world to Nigeria, and they say you can find Nigerians in every country of the world. So have you come across any Nigerian in Australia.?

@ OP oh yea I must have read about the abroginal athlete. BTW I like the way you were able to drive your answers without been bias. I know a lot about the TIs, Aboriginals and Australians I just wanted to see things from an Australian's perspective.

mod, and i think i'm going to put this in capital letters.

MOD, DON'T EVER THINK OF MOVING THIS THREAD TO THE FRONT PAGE LIKE YOU DID WITH A SIMILAR THREAD WHEN A RUSSIAN CAME HERE AND ASKED US TO ASK HIM ANYTHING. YOU REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT THREAD WHEN YOU MOVED IT TO FRONT PAGE. MANY AZZHOLES CAME AND FRUSTRATED THE INNOCENT RUSSIAN OUT.

OP, you may want to check the guy's thread. It is similar to yours. Infact, when i saw your thread, the Russian was the first that came to my mind.

Anyway, you are welcome to our website. This is actually the largest and the most active online forum in the whole of Africa, not just Nigeria! In here, you will find people of different nationality.

I will ask you some questions when i close from work. Once again, you are welcome.

although, Austrailia is in the eastern hermisphere, it is still a western country. Why do you guys in the west want to jumble everyone in the world up into one monolithic culture by blackmailing African government into accepting gay marriage as ok?

and you think you know anything more than i do? It seems you don't know what the word 'hemisphere' mean hence you said what you said. If you had known it, you wouldn't have doubted my knowledge of the location of Australia.

In case you don't know, a country doesn't have to be in the western hemisphere for it to be called western. Being western has got nothing to do with your geographical location. Its about believeing in a set of ideals and Australia fits into that discription perfectly. I say it again: Australia, though in the eastern hemisphere, is a western country. Maybe the OP can elp us settle the dispute here since he is Australian.

So, op...is Australia a western country or not?

op, it seems you don't want to answer my first question. I don't know why but i want you to feel very very free to disregard any question you don't want to answer.

I heard your economy is heavily dependent on mining. How true is that?

Australia is a beautiful country with so much to envy about it. Do you think you guys can one day become a super power? Do you think your geographical location is an advantage or a disadvantage?

What do you all think about Australia?
Is it true a nurse can earn as $50 per hour wages? Is it true that there are many jobs? Are your women beautiful? Is it true that your wages is the highest and one can easily make more money and savings? Are you living a comfortable life? Do you like black people? And please..what are your honest view of Africans there?

Nurses:

Looking at the local jobs board http://jobs.wa.gov.au/ entry level nurses earn ~$30 an hour with specialist nurses earning ~$60 an hour. Wages in WA are the highest, but so is the cost of living.

Jobs:

There are many entry level jobs in casual labour, hospitality and retail (~18-$25 an hour), but for higher paying careers with a future you need qualifications and references to be competitive.

Women:

There are beautiful women and there are unattractive women like every country, genetics works on a bell curve.

Wages:

Wages are fairly high because our economy and dollar is strong, but living costs are high as well. If you know how to manage your money you can easily save.

Am I comfortable?

Yes. I am happy with less compared to most people that live here though. I live in a fully furnished apartment close to the city with my girlfriend. I have 24/7 access to supermarkets, water, electricity, internet, mobile access, gas and transport. Because I manage my money I can live off of ~$300 a week. $150 rent/$50 food/$50 transport/$50 bills (my rent is unusually cheap because for the area I live in and not just because I'm sharing the place, average rent around here is ~$350-$400 a week). I study full time at university and do paid work ~15 hours a week for a charity.

Black people:

I don't really think about race as a determining factor for like or dislike. I tend to judge people on their personality rather than physiology. Many people here don't share my outlook though. There is racism in Australia, but in terms of legislation everything is equal.

Africans:

I've never had a bad experience, but Africans are a minority here so I don't get many chances to interact. I just assume that most people are ok until they prove it otherwise regardless of background. Differing culture and religion have never been a road block for any of my friendships.
Wao, thanks, you really Elucidate me...

@ cubnake , you are a great guy . very smart in answering questions. I have aways thought if australia would survive without their exports because I looked up on the manufacturing sector over there and found it is not as strong compared to other western countries . what government policies do you think is sustaining the economy right now over there . In europe now , its quite tough getting a job , I really can't say why , but I can relate it to the influx of immigrants. Do you think your country will be able to cope with a greater population ?
Re: . by Nobody: 6:58pm On Nov 04, 2014
Cubnake. Is Australia dangerous, because I've heard
there are a lot of dangerous animals there?
.
I've heard about kangaroos roaming about sub-urban streets too.
Are these true?

Do you think Julia Gillard and other white Aussies have the right to tell imigrant muslims that "if you don't like Aussie culture, you also have the right to leave Australia"?
Re: . by Nobody: 7:46pm On Nov 04, 2014
do you guys in Australia believe in love? Do you think rich men in Australia have more options when it comes to women? Do 'hot' Aussie women have more male options? Do you think rich Aussie women have got more problems finding love? How 'confident' are Aussie men?
Re: . by Nobody: 7:49pm On Nov 04, 2014
why are Kangaroos found only in Australia? Have you eat a Kangaroo meat before?
