and u neva regreted-
actually I was thinking like you but now I just let that mentality go . that's the reason I broke up with my ex, I was trying to change her and make her a better package for myself but she was this type that doesn't believe one can change another. one of the major thing was that I never liked her dress code cause I'm this type of guy that has a very high taste and I know what I wanted but in her case I mistakenly rushed into the relationship because it was my first time.
|

If in your innermost heart, this new package has met all your heart desire and you're dead sure that you can cope with whatever surprises that may arise ,why not? After all, life is all about going for your heart and change remains the most permanent thing in life. The way the society reacts to issues like this is one reason I'm against long-term relationship - It should always be when you're good to go, 6 months to 1 year is more than enough to court and get married instead of that 2,3,4,5,6,7yrs relationship most peeps do. |

If you are not married and find someone you are truly compatible with, i'd say leave whoever you plan to manage and move on with the better person for you which is why people should not be in relationships with all kinds of issues and lacking what they truly desire. |

Tinalex:oh! Really? I'll say you just happen to be one of the people I created the thread for. As to what you should do, I think you need to put a lot of things into consideration. 1. How long you've been with your current partner and how much he desires to take you to the altar 2. If you are sure of how genuine the new guy's affection is 3. If you can stick to your current guy without cheating on him with the new guy and vice versa 4. Who you think you will be happier with? 5. If there are no such things that make you owe your current guy complete loyalty(except if death comes between the two of you) 6. If you have a very good excuse you can give your current guy for not being able to carry on with him? |
