Mehn, congrats to your friend. I believe mine will turn out this way. I was also refused twice this year, deferred to Winter, did upfront medicals, necessary adjustments and reapplied October.....waiting on God for that good news in Dec grin

Need to understand this upfront medicals properly. Does this mean I can (at my own risk) go ahead to do medicals at Asaju (or wherever) without it being solicited, and when it's needed Asaju just uploads my result to CIC?

I'm asking because I'm considering it as an option. My workplace is about 6-7 hours away from Lagos (and Abuja too)... and getting time off work when I'm on call is very difficult. I'll be free next week and I plan to be in Lagos, but I haven't been called for medicals yet. Wanna know if it's ok to go ahead and schedule an appointment for medicals anyway.

It sure does answers it...thanks a bunch...i plan using the online route...its a lot easier and faster for me..... Any body in Royal roads uni, Victoria BC Vancouver?

georgey2k:
The answer is no if you are applying through online because you will only scan all your documents and send to them, nobody will be asking you of the originals... hope this answers your question.
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 6 by 9jabiggurl: 5:45pm On Nov 04, 2014
Oh i see... thanks bro/sis...will just stick to the online process....

Undergo your medical exam before you submit your application
This is called an up front medical exam.

You can contact a panel physician directly to get your medical exam if you apply under one of the following categories:

Workers
Students
Visitors (including Parent and Grandparent Super Visa)
Once your medical exam has been completed, the doctor will give you a document confirming that you underwent a medical exam. You must include a copy of that document with your application.

If the doctor works with the eMedical electronic system:

they will give you the information sheet printout.
If the doctor works with a paper system:

they will give you a copy of the IMM 1017B Upfront Medical Report form.
You must attach that form to your application before you submit it the visa office. If you apply online, you must upload that form before you can submit your application.

Sorry bro, too late. You fit take flight for faster access wink

You can only do your medicals before you apply or after you've been notified to do so, not in between. So, if you have already applied, you have to wait till you are instructed to do medicals. If you have not applied already, then can go ahead and do it.

Plz house, I get question to ask o

There is a missing letter in my name on my university certificate. . . So u would see something like Chibuke instead of Chibuike.

Plz, what amount of troubles would this cause to me getting admission/visa stuffs etc..?

Thanks for ur response.

Only an affidavit may suffice. Most, if not all documents sent to the embassy are verified. A lil error should be the least of your worries
